This lip product I purchased from my local Walgreens store a few days ago. I have tried products from this brand before and liked them, so I thought this one would be worth a try. Overall, I liked the formula. It was easy to apply. It definitely nourishes dry, chapped lips. I had to reapply it throughout the day as it didn't last long. My only issue with this product is the $10 price tag! For that reason, I gave it three stars. I can't see myself buying it in the future because it's too pricey for a chapstick, in my opinion.

I keep my lip balm in my front pocket, and this doesn't turn into goo, even in summer. Beeswax is an ingredient, so I'm afraid it's not vegan. It is also *very* lightly fragranced. Although I've been using Atoderm for 5 months now, I only realised there was fragrance when I looked at the ingredient list and then sniffed it carefully. It might sound like I have a poor sense of smell, but I once freaked a co-worker out by commenting 'Oh good, they are serving hazelnut cream today (at the café across the street)' when she was standing a few feet from me at 2 pm and she'd finished her coffee at 10 am, then had lunch in the interim. I can wear lipstick over top Atoderm without the lipstick caking. I even tested it with a Nyx matte liquid lip for seven hours (this was a sacrifice for science as I usually nurse coffee or water all day). If the lip looked 10/10 when I first applied, it was 7.75/10 at hour 7, which is pretty darn good for matte. The only thing I wish is that there was also a version with SPF.

I and my children have very dry lips. Especially in winter, our lips are dry and even cracked, bleeding. I’ve tried some lip moisturizers but I still stick witb Bioderma Atoderm Lip Stick. You know why? Because of its benefits: Moisturizes and soothes, leaves lips supple and soft. Recommeded for children 3+ . Suitable for everyday use and apply as often as needed. The only one thing I don’t like about this lip stick is it’s easy to break if dropped.

Disappointed

First off the formula itself is great. Very moisturising. I assumed it would be off the great ingredient deck. Love that it has a good amount of moisturizing shea butter. However....the smell is SO off putting to me. I keep wanting to reach for it due to the quality formula but then remember how awful and potent the smell is. Its like a sweet plasticky smell. And I could get past it if the smell disappeared like 30 seconds after applying, but unfortunately it lingers for at least 10 minutes if not longer. That being said I wont be repurchasing. Dont think i can even get thru the one I have.

Go to lip moisturizer

This is an excellent lip moisturizer and as someone else mentioned, it is no more expensive than other mid-range products and certainly less expensive than higher end daily lip moisturizers. Unlike similar products, this is a straightforward product- No cute packaging or perfumes. Just a simple lip balm that truly works. It has kept my lips moisturized through the end of the summer and through mid fall. Since using this stick, I've even ignored my heavier nightime moisturizer. It glides smoothly and there is never a feeling of excess on your lips. I can't speak to its efficacy during the winter months. However, even if this lip moisturizer is not winter proof, it will be great for all other seasons. Love this lip hydrator

I purchased this 'gem' of a lip chap recommended by the pharmacist and I love it. I ask the pharmacist what her recommendations were on a lip chap that would hydrate, soothe and heal cracked/ dry lips.I've been through so many different brands, organic balms etc ive been where this all day and now in bed after a shower, my lips are softer than my face.I highly recommend this product, apply a few times a day or when you feel your lips are dry. Less is more, a little once over your lips is better than saturating them.

On the Chapstick Fence

It’s very soft, smooths on nicely, if you’re highly sensitive to dents, slightly fruity scent I’m not a fan of, that I could still smell on lips after applying. I’m a pinch, absolutely. But So is any other brand new chapstick like product. A+ packaging, A+ for no color neutral stick, but bare minerals lip glosses moisturize better even though they’re gooey. ;) it’s not quite there for me though. I wouldn’t buy again.

One of the best I have used

I have very dry lips that crack very easily. I can't leave the house without moisturising lip balm in my bag. I don't usualy buy this one, but I bought it together with the body wash for my kids from the same series and I immediately fell in love with it. My lips havent felt better in a long time and it runs for ages.

Simply THE BEST!

I've been using this lip balm for a few years. I think I'd tried almost every product on the market but this was a game changer and I've never looked back. I haven't had dry or cracked lips since. I use it year-round and have tubes of it everywhere- purse, desk, bathroom, work, car, pockets- you name it. There isn't anything I don't love about it. Perfect on its own or under lipstick. A must-try for year-round lip awesomeness!!
