Bioderma is not listening to their consumers! The Sensibio Light cream was the ONLY product that my highly sensitive skin has tolerated, and I have had numerous pharmacists recommend the light cream and I have recommended it to many, it was a lifesaver. This new product has completely new ingredients, many of which are PROVEN to cause irritation. Why have you changed such a strong reputable product that has saved the skin of so many people. I used to purchase it for the last several YEARS. I am DEVESTATED, and clearly I am not alone. Every sight I have gone to the reviews for this new product are outrage and heartbreak. We are all devastated!

Why does this contain a major allergen like soybean oil (which is also very comedogenic)? Devastated they changed the formula. Sensibio Light was all I could use. The cosmetician at my local pharmacy said it was a best seller and was shocked it was discontinued. This is not a suitable replacement. Please bring back Sensibio Light!

I did not realize the product had been discontinued when I purchased this item after my usual moisturizer, Sensibio Light, was out of stock for months. I thought, why not? Fast forward a month of using this later - horrible, painful cystic acne all over my jaw. This is not for sensitive skin. I am in shock this has replaced the ONLY product that my skin did not react negatively to. Please Bioderma, bring Sensibio Light back - your consumers are asking for it.
I used Sensibio Light as my main moisturizer. It completely replaced all my other fancy and expensive moisturizers, and my skin was finally perfect only thanks to the existence of Sensibio Light. But when I tried Defensive a few times, i realized it does not do any good for my skin. Bring back the Sensibio Light please!
I was very impressed upon using this product in its free sample form, so I ordered it.It seems like the actual retail intended product was different to the sample version......?I see results with this product but only when I use it once every 2nd or 3rd day, & only use a little amount as too much leaves my fave feeling & looking greasy.Also, I swear my bottle must have been only half full. Okayish product but probably won't buy again.
I've been using the Sensibio Light (OIL-FREE) moisturizer for years and it's been one of the only moisturizers I found that doesn't break out my skin. So I was super bummed to learn that it's been discontinued and replaced with this inferior oil-laden "Defensive" formula. I tried this new version and my skin did not like it at all. Why on earth would you put soy bean oil AND squalene in a product that was supposed to be replacing an OIL-FREE product? Both soy bean oil and squalene are oils known to potentially aggravate sensitive acne-prone skin. Isn't the Sensibio line supposed to be specifically for sensitive / acne prone skin? I'm afraid you've lost another customer on this one.
I don't know why companies reformulate or replace products that everyone love. The old formula was perfect and my skin loved it, perfect for sensitive skin and a great makeup base too. I've noticed my skin hasn't been right since i started using this new formulation of the sensibio light cream; my skin has become irritated and has milia spots which i never get unless my skin has been irritated by a product. Others have pointed out the soybean oil and mango butter which just doesn't make sense to add to this product which is supposed to be good for sensitive skin and it doesn't really seem to fit with bioderma as a brand. Overall not good and I'll have to find an alternative now.
Please bring the original formulation, as i'm not the only one that has reacted very negatively to the new version, this was such an unnecessary change that seems to have been done out of the fear mongering of certain ingredients by those not well educated in the formulation and curation of cosmetic. for a brand that has gained its notoriety by selling products suited and made for sensitive skin types, this feels like a huge deviation from the brands ethos and a slap in the face to all loyal customers. Please bring the old formula back, its the one thing my skin tolerated after my other daily go to was also reformulated as i have very sever and intense rosacea, and as with any chronic inflammatory skin condition, consistency, simplicity and vigilance is key,
I was very disappointed by the new formula. I have been using the bioderma soothing cream since 2018 and that was the only moisturizer that did not break my skin out. Now I gave the new formula try and of course after 48 hours my skin is full of white heads and acne. I have recommended this product to my clients before because I loved! Now I guess I need to find a new moisturizer.
