Small compact size is great to hold in your pocket. Does hold enough of a charge to fully recharge my cell phone. Exactly as described and a great value for the price. It charges both my cellphones multiple times a day (at least twice). It charges my tablet at least twice a day before having to be charged. I don’t leave home without it!

Best purchase I’ve made this year. I strictly get around by biking and busing, and bus tickets are only electronic now where I am. It’s only rated for 2.5 full phone charges but so far I’ve gotten 6! Perfect size for my go-everywhere hip pack and incredibly helpful and convenient.

Have put Charge 20 thru a few cycles charging my cell phone. My smart phone is older Motorola and battery is worn and gets below 20% in less than 24 hrs.. The Charge 20 lets me recharge in the field. The unit fits into side pocket of day pack, to reach, easy to use. Was able to get two good charges and still had two lights left. Have even used at home when charger was in use. Have not tested water resistance. Nice, compact, does what it is designed to do and works fast to power up my phone or recharge itself. Glad I got one.

This device was purchased to be my outdoor activity power source for: phone, watch, light, emergency beacon, etc. I did completely charge it. and tested it on my phone. It worked No surprise. But I have not had a need to test it on a long charge or multiple charges before recharging. The carrying weight is good for the amount of power available.
I spent some time looking for a power bank that would recharge itself quickly and this can go from flat to fully charged in 2.5-3hrs. If it isn't flat you can often give it a quick recharge back to full while stopped at a café on a bike packing trip. Good construction and is light for its capability. I will definitely recommend buying it, much much better then the slow charging ebay ones, Anker etc etc, stuff (which I have purchased many times before). Make sure you buy the battery size you need and don't go overboard as it is extra weight, size and recharging time. I use this to recharge my phone and a speaker while on a multiday trip. It recharges my phone about 2.5 - 3 times.
Works just as it should. I bought because of other reviews, including the company generally. It’s not the smallest one out there, but it has ideal ports for cabling and a cool yellow/grey color.
Absolutely love this power bank, cannot say enough good about it. I've owned heaps of power banks over the years and the BioLite is hands down the best I've had. Last used on a 9 day bush trip where use of black means was constant, got 4 full charges of my Galaxy S20 and it still had power to spare. Recharge time is super quick so you can take advantage of those mains power opportunities to the full. Particularly like the fact it has an on/off switch too.
A great power bank, but just wish Biolite marketing would promote more why to purchase this rather than a power bank costing half as much that does the exact same job. I’m all for their work in third world countries where the extra cost probably goes to…it would just be nice to know for sure though.
Had a 5000 mAh pack which was sufficient for two charging emergencies with my iPhone 8. Upgraded to an iPhone 10 so needed a bigger pack. I really liked the portability of my old pack so I considered the Charge 20 PD but decided I wanted the extra juice. This feels huge vs the old pack, but I'd put this one as the sweet spot between power and physical size; I wouldn't want bigger or heavier. The grey part of the body is a softer textured plastic to improve your grip. Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase.
This small power bank packs plenty of energy to keep my small iphone charged over 3 full charges. It offers great peace of mind to throw this into my pack when hiking or camping. It has more capacity than the 4Patriots "solar" power bank I also own. (The small solar panel in the 4Patriots takes at least two full days of strong sun to charge it up and it only charges my phone about 1 1/2 to 2 times when full. Since I typically don't stay out that long, the BioLite Charge 40 works better for my needs. The size and weight of the Charge 40 is also a pretty good compromise between the stick-type small packs and the large/cumbersome brick-type power banks which are available from BioLite and other manufacturers.
