Concept is great with the foldable lantern for small foot print but the metal ribs cut the lantern fabric which caused tear.
Very bright and compact lantern however it requires power and must be connected to USB power or other biolite systems. I thought it was rechargeable so not what I hoping for.
The design is very clever and provides bright dimmable light at your campsite. Please be advised that this lantern requires an external USB-A source for power. Unfortunately I returned the lantern due to QA/QC issues with the internal structure causing tears to the diffusing fabric out of the box. Might be a one-off but will order again!
We use this on the center pole of our Teton Sierra 16 Bell Tent and it works perfect! This little light casts some big light! I would recommend to everyone with a bell tent because it is perfect!
Fun lighting.Packs down easily and is does not weigh much. Creates lots of light and puts a different ambiance on the camp site. In the tent is bright enough to play cards or games.
The SiteLight XL is a very cool product! It is all it claims to be and more. Very lightweight, packable, and super bright. We love the cord length and compatibility with the base camp lite. We will be purchasing more bio lites to go with our set so far. Highly recommended!
I love the size and shape of this item. It projects a lot of light! But it requires an external electric source to power. Basically meaning this is for your glampers. I'm keeping it because i got it on sale. Otherwise I would be sending it back.
This little lantern packs tiny and is super lightweight! It’s super bright when set up in your tent and makes for a pretty awesome camp set up. Would definitely recommend! It relies on USB though so make sure you have a power pack.
Honestly lights up a whole campsite alone! This is a great backpacking choice too for its light weight and pack down features. I bought it after my roommate busted hers out camping and I fell in love. I had to have one of my own.
