Absolutely love these lightweight and compact lights. They have a beautiful illumination which isn't hard on the eyes but really adds to the ambience when sitting around a campsite at night with friends.Unfortunately, one of the string lights came apart. I just glued it back together and it's been OK since. I would have given 5 stars except for this minor failure. In general, I've found Biolite products (I have several now) are excellent, so I'm putting this down to just bad luck.

My first impression on it is so so. It is not easy to take the whole line of lighting out to use. After I try it on, it is so bright especially on its small size. I still haven't actually used on my up coming planned camp trip, will see in the near future. For the price point, I still recommend it to the other camper.

I have looked everywhere for the perfect string lights for my camper - bought numerous strings. These are a keeper. Easy to set up. Soft light doesn’t annoy the neighbours. Bought three strings. I should have bought a couple more strings when they were on sale. Great buy!

I love these lights! They provide a soft light that is perfect for our 20' RV. I have them connected through a USB port, direct current from the RV's battery when we aren't connected to shore power. If I do need to use them outside, they are easy enough to move.
RV LED lighting can be harsh to dine and read by. I purchase the one set of string of lights and plugged them in to the cabinet socket with a UBS surge protector. I strung the light alone the cabinet pull knobs. The light weight lighting makes all the difference. The lights are a wonderful accent to the wrap around dining/game table. There is no exposed copper wiring and they can be easily stored by rolling the string cord around the lights and stacking them on top of each other. These light are not just for back packers. They set a lovely lighting mood in the RV at night.
These LED strings lights charge from nearly any micro-USB and/or audio cable enabled power source. Lights are great for lightweight backpacking needs; can be strung above cooking area; or used to decorate tent. Lights are connect to all Biolite lighting and power source products. Simply awesome!
I bought these to use inside an XL softshell roof top tent. Being USB powered was a requirement, as well as affordable and compact, this product met all requirements. I have about 65 nights of using these lights inside the tent and plan to continue. the adjustable length of the light is a pleasant design. Would recommend for back packers, bike packers or people would like to car camp with minimal loose gear floating around. Shoot, even in the back yard they would preform well.
I’ve ordered these a few times. Not sure if the supplier changed or just the quality has dropped, but the bottom plastic housing that cover the led lights on multiple lights in different packages were stuck together and would come off of the units when I tried to open and pull them apart from the packaging . Eventually I was able to make it work, as I love these little lights, just now concerned that they will not last too long. Time will tell.

As wonderful as that may be for camp soon enough you're going to need that headlamp.What I love about the SiteLight Mini is the ease at which it can change the feel of our space. Soooooo cute. I own another of these already and this is my second. I also have the big round light. They look adorable stringed together and they provide good lighting for the night. They consume very little energy from the external battery also. I guess my only worry is not to loose any of the USB adaptors. But just being careful suffices. They also pack very light. Have been using them for +1 year with good results.
