I have been a Birkenstock devotee since 1993.As a result, I have no foot problems, back problems or hip problems. I am not saying that Birkenstocks have been the sole reason for my health, but they instantly fix my posture when I wear them and I am sure this impacts on something. I’ve bought eight pairs over the years and found them to be the most comfortable shoes I own.
Bought as slippers for round the house. Was cautious since varying reports of Birkenstock's being uncomfortable and hard to break in. I have wide feet so glad I went with a half size up.Happy to report they are very comfy and my feet have settled into the cork soles very well!Now considering a pair of sandals for day-to-day use. I think I may be a Birkenstock convert!

Disappointing quality of top of shoe - suede looked worn & scraped. Not worth the high price tag. True to size. Unfortunately returned. Service was excellent & postage prompt to rural SA.
Nordstrom’s legendary service remains unsurpassed - and the ‘Boston sandal’ is great looking and comfortable. However, for me, the color was just too dark for my liking. I’m frantically searching this style in ‘Taupe’ or ‘Grey’.
