I bought my first pair after admiring them on someone else. They are comfortable and I wear them for work as well as everyday errands. I'm a size 3.5 and I bought a size 4 which fit perfectly. I like the adjustable straps, especially at the moment in this heatwave we are having! I love the black and the fact that the buckle is also black. I highly recommend these sandals and think they will last me for many years to come.

I've had a pair of Birk Milanos for over 20 years and decided these would be a good addition to my wardrobe.The black buckles blend in for a simple look, which I like. They're perfect for wearing with shorts, trousers, jeans, dresses etc, and they're very comfortable. I usually go for a 5.5 and ordered these in a 6 as half sizes weren't available, and they're a good fit. I have fairly narrow feet and don't notice these fitting (or looking) different from the standard width ones; of course, there's room for adjustment with the buckles if they feel too loose or tight.A good pair of sandals that should get plenty of wear and, if they're anything like my other pair, should last for years.

My first pair of 'real' Birkenstocks and they really are worth it. A very last minute purchase before a holiday, ordered for delivery to my local Waitrose and they were available to collect within less than 12 hours. I wore them for the first time on arriving at my holiday destination which was perhaps risky, but they were comfortable straight away and I had them on for a whole day of walking in the heat with no rubbing or blisters. The next morning they did feel a bit hard but not uncomfortable and were absolutely fine as the day went on. Repeat every day for a week and I feel like I've been wearing them for years. Love them.
I have always wanted to wear Birkinstocks but the the usual ones are too broad so great to see these in a narrow fitting. Like the black buckle too.Unfortunately i had to return these - my second toe is longer than my big toe & was catching on the lip of the footbed. Tried a bigger size but still had this problem.Would be great if a version of these could be made without the signature lip around the edge for those with long toes like me!!
Birkenstocks have been my sandal of choice for over twenty years. The Birkenstock footbed provides (For me, and I happen to require a lot of arch support in all shoes and have had difficulties with plantar fasciitis from deficient foot wear.) support, and consequently comfort,superior to any other sandals and, in fact, to many other shoes I have worn. The Arizona style is just a personal preference, the footbed carries through the Birkenstock line. I prefer the normal, not soft, footbed. The normal seems to actually be more comfortable...another personal preference. The Birki Flour and Birki Buc synthetic material looks and feels like leather and is much easier to maintain. Cannot fault these Birkenstocks. I wasn't sure how comfortable they would be but they are by far the comfiest sandles I have owned- no wearing in time needed- and I have worn them all day for walking around cities. Look great with dress, shorts and jeans. An excellent product!
Bought for a holiday. For what I needed, I thought they were a bit pricy so also ordered some much cheaper generic brand ones... OMG you can tell the difference straight away. yes they are a bit more expensive, but they are so much better quality. Super comfy, really well made and imo, well worth it.
First bought a pair of the rubbers ones and absolutely loved them so wanted a smarter pair and bought these. Had never worn Birkenstock before as have narrow feet and skinny legs so assumed they would be too wide and look bulky.. but they don't! Only thing I would say is they run smaller than the rubber ones. I have the rubber ones in a 6 narrow and they are a perfect fit whereas the 6 narrow in these are slightly too short and narrow. I am usually a 7 narrow so assume it's just the rubber ones that run big. Will order a 7 next time as these are ny favorite sandal ever for comfort and style!
Bought these for my partner. He has wide feet and the fitting notes suggested that it would be ok for the regular fit. I bought these in a size 8 and they are only just wide enough for mine, which are a size 6. I'm told the moulded sole is really uncomfortable as the arch was pressing in a weird place. Unfortunately I missed the return date as these were bought in advance for a gift. On the plus side, they do look well constructed.
