I have owned Birkenstocks for years. I bought these in Gold last summer, and once I put them on, I never wore any other sandals. They were beyond comfortable with the new soft footbed, with the added benefit of being stylish with the gold color. I bought the silver ones for this summer. Birkenstock has a hit with these. I would love more updated colors in this soft footbed Arizona. I am an average 7 1/2 size and can wear both wide and narrow Birkenstocks. I chose the narrow for these sandals as they looked more like "regular" sandals on my foot than the wide. I use size 38 for narrow and size 37 for wide.

Ive been wearing Birkenstocks for as long as I can remember. They are very comfortable and stable. I especially like Birkenstocks made of Birko-Flor because there is absolutely no break-in needed. I will definitely continue to purchase them.
These sandals are pretty darn close to perfect. I am more of an athletic t-shirt and shorts kind of gal for everyday and these sandals are great to slip on, but also look great with casuals dresses and shorts with a button down! I've gotten a ton of compliments. I bought a pair of the shiny silver leather as well (which I returned)- hands down these are better - the leather ones scratch VERY easily where theses will hold up longer and I like the black bottom. Only complaint is I seem to be between two hole sizes but have made them work. VERY comfortable!
I'm hoping this review saves someone else the hassle of returning because the sizing is a bit misleading on Nordstrom's website. Birkenstock has two sizes: their 'Regular/Wide' size and their 'Medium/Narrow' size. These are the narrows. If you're used to the roomy fit of the Regular Birkenstock, these will feel too small/tight. Since Nordstrom doesn't offer the Regular fit, I am returning and buying elsewhere. I will keep purchasing from Nordstrom because customer service is top-notch, just wanted to provide some clarity for anyone else considering purchasing these!
I can’t believe I used to laugh at my mom for wearing Birks. Move on over Tory Burch flip flops, cause these sandals are the holy grail of footwear. They are, without a doubt, the most comfortable shoes to have ever graced my feet since slippers. They are amazing. I want to wear them all year long - I’m never taking them off! I got a 36, which is a size down from my usual translated size 6. It fit perfectly! The silver looks really polished (seriously!) and unique if you’re trying to make them preppy or chic.
I was so excited being able to order a Narrow pair of Birkies; however, they were not a good fit and I had to return them. I wear a 9 Narrow and the website said to order down a size, so I ordered the 8.5 Narrow. Although a Narrow, the shoes were still too wide, and I was unable to use the last hole in both buckle straps to make the shoes tighter. Also, because they were so wide, even with socks on, my foot slipped to the front of the shoe, into the upturned toe cup, which would have made wearing the shoes very uncomfortable. In addition, you cannot use the 20% discount on Birkenstocks. Other than that, the shoes were nicely made and good quality.
To be honest, I wish I could leave an amazing review, but these are the worst sandals I have ever purchased. I bought them with the hope that they would be super comfortable and would be my go to sandals. Unfortunately, what I got was a pair of sandals that leaves my feet aching. I wore them for 3 or 4 days in my house to try and break them in first, and then moved onto wearing them outside when I knew I wouldn't be doing a lot of walking. They are horribly uncomfortable and hurt the bottom of my feet. I am very disappointed that for the what I paid for these Birkenstock's I have basically tossed them aside and switched back to my cheap flip flops that feel amazing compared to these.
I normally wear a size 7 in shoes and a 37 in these Birks fits perfectly. These shoes are BY FAR the most comfortable shoes that I own. I am so happy that these happen to be in style right now also. The silver color is fabulous, these aren't as shiny as the silver Birks with the white bottom (and I prefer these less shiny, black bottom Birks). These Birks are versatile, neutral, and still a bit fun. Total perfection. Buy them. I find myself wearing them almost every day. I even wore them to work (business casual) with black cropped skinny trousers, a white t-shirt under a white three-quarter length white blazer, and a diamond necklace.
