I'm a size 6.5-7 (usually 6.5 in sandals or sockless shoes) so I ordered these in a EU 37 / US 6-6.5. When I picked up they were definitely a size too big, and I tried on others in store to find I really needed a EU 36 / US 5-5.5 which isn't in stock so I'm out of luck. A lot of other reviewers talk about these being narrow but I didn't think they were, I'd say they're for an average foot and I actually tightened the buckle once to get them to feel more snug. I purchased this pair from a local Birkenstock store because I was too impatient to wait for QVC to ship them. As soon as I tried them on, I knew I had to have them. I am a long-time Birkenstock wearer and have purchased many, many styles, but I will say the classic Arizona never disappoints. The fit is perfect (Size 7; 38) and they do not require any break-in period. I can wear them all day in pure comfort. I purchased them in white and they are so pretty. These will be my go-to summer shoe!

I'd gotten away from the classic Arizona style in the past few years, and these shoes are a good reminder of why I loved them in the first place. They're comfortable straight out of the box and they look adorable. I have Morton's neuromas in both feet and I also have uncooperative arches. I can stand and walk all day long at school without problems in Birks. I like the gold color with the big buckle. They're slightly snazzier than my usual brown leather. The gold and the buckles kick it up a notch.
I’m very glad I went in store to try these shoes on. I have been wearing Birkenstocks for years and this is the first time I’ve had to size up to a 41 (normal size 40). In comparison to other Arizona’s, the white just seemed to run a tad short and my toes were hanging off in the 40’s. Not a huge deal- but beware of this if buying online. That said I adore these White Birks. They are NOT whiney, but the birko-flor material (matte) which is what I wanted. Very on trend and I know these will last years. (Yes the bottoms will get dirty, but the uppers will clean up nicely). As with any Birkenstock, you need to break them in, but once you do they will become your go to sandal!
I bought these because my shoe size (mostly width) was getting slightly bigger throughout my pregnancy. These are great because they can still fit after birth. The footbed was also comfortable. I'm glad I purchased them even though it is more than I would usually pay for sandals.

I thought that I would need a bigger size because the fit is almost too perfect, but I tried the next size up and would need to adjust the straps to the last hole and I didn’t like how that looked also they looked big. I read in the reviews to only wear these a few hours at a time to start breaking them in. I did because i already have issues with my feet and if anything bothers them they swell up. They did anyways but the next time I wore them I didn’t have issues. I adjusted the straps to my liking but after several times of wearing them they felt like they got loose and I found myself holding on to my sandals as I walked. I just purchased my first Arizona Birkenstocks. Yes the footbed is hard and maybe it's because I have lived in flipflops for years but the hard footbed actually feels kinda good. Like the support of a firm mattress. Anyway, I wore them for hours after I purchased them and the next day all day at work. I haven't done a huge amount of walking but when I do they feel good. I tend to be a sloucher and I've noticed that they make me stand/walk straight up, pushing my shoulders back rather than hunched over which I normally am. I can already see faint indentations of my toes in the footbed. I think these sandals are going to be amazing and probably the only shoes I wear. I live in the Pacific Northwest so I'll fit right in with the socks and sandal guys/gals!
i love birkenstocks but i will never buy them from DSW again. the description on the dsw website says "The shoe’s fit is medium width but listed by Birkenstock as Narrow Fit or Regular Fit on the item box." This is not really accurate. Birkenstocks come in 2 widths: narrow/medium and regular/wide. When you order them from DSW you do not get a choice, it's just a random pick between the two. Narrow/medium is too narrow for me so i need to order them directly from Birkenstock or go in store and hope that they happen to have the correct width in stock in order to be sure I will get regular/wide width.
I love how I feel when using this lovely sandal. It is classic and I can wear it to all occasions. It is comfortable and offers the right grip so my feet won't hurt after some walk. It also makes my feet look a little slimmer/smaller (which I like). Highly recommend!
