Really happy with these after finally replacing my previous pair of "Birks" that lasted approx. 20 years. Props for making a more affordable option with the same great footbed even if it's not quite as comfortable as the standard cork version they're known for. I would have preferred a size 14 but luckily these (size 13.5) still fit my feet. Great value for the price and have held up fine so far after a couple months of wear.

I picked these up for a summer beach trip as an easy off and on/end of day shoe that I could dress up or down. The reality is that they have become my rental house shoes, my recovery shoes after hikes, and still are my going out to dinner shoes. The footbed rises to meet my high arches (just like on a standard Birkenstock foot bed) but I can be just a tad bit rougher with them. Great comfort and have a fair bit of breath ability when you wiggle your foot about to keep any one spot from getting too sweaty. I usually wear size 11.5 shoes - I purchased size 44 EU which is 11 US, fits me perfectly.They seem to run about a half size larger. so if you wear size 10.5 shoes get size 10 Birkenstock.Initially, they felt strange as if I was standing on a stone in the arch of my foot, especially while wearing socks but I got used to them after a week or two and now I find them incredibly comfortable.Side note they make the squeaky noise on certain surfaces while walking if you get the sole of shoe wet.

The arch and toe support are serviceable but there is little cushioning. My heels and balls hurt so much that I have to slip into a pair of rubber slip-ons from Walmart that I paid $6.00 for four years ago to get relief. Way too expensive for these ultralight plastic sandals. The shouldn't be more than $20..00. The style is very appealing.They look exactly like the photo. I have the Khaki because there was no light beige/cream or brown. I actually thought they were brown when I ordered them
At first they seem a bit on the flimsy side and for light duty. They're light in weight as if constructed from some vegetable extract plastic like material. However once I put them on I Ioved the customary arch support. My feet find themselves enveloped in the seemingly appropriate, comfortable, molded convex shape. They feel great to put on and walk around. I'm using them mostly for inside my house. I'm not sure how well they would survive as an outside, heavy duty use sandal. Mostly for the beach. the pool etc IMHO

I got the size 36 since it’s the smallest one they carried for this particular shoe. It’s slightly large for me but that was expected. I would say it runs true to Birkenstock sizing. More importantly- the straps are adjustable and the front of the shoe doesn’t rub against my feet like some other brands do. I bought these a summer or 2 ago in the army green after my boys had these black. They were so comfy on and didn't break the bank. I am a woman and wear a size 10 so went with the size 41 in the black and they fit perfectly. I did not like the women's version of this sandal. The footbed was too narrow on them and I do not have wide feet. The men's version hides my bunions and there still is wiggle room w/o being too wide. If you do have a wide foot these are great d/ the wider foot bed and the adjustable straps. FYI- I like my straps on the tightest options. Bonus that these will be waterproof to wear by the pool this summer. Also, more colors!!!!
Love Birkenstock EVA sandals! Pros? They are light, comfortable, easy to clean, relatively inexpensive, and come in lots of neat colors. Cons are few: the sandals only last one or two seasons and eventually need to be replaced. However, I recently bought a pair (online, without trying them on) that were stamped size 40 but were clearly a larger size. I compared them to a previously purchased size 40--there was a three-quarter inch difference in the length. So buyer beware, particularly if you assume you know your size and purchase online.
