I already bought a pair of these from Nordstrom (orangey melon), 39EU, D width, fits fine. So, ordered this blue pair in the exact same size, D width. BUT the box had "NARROW" written HUGELY - and they are (definitely narrow). They're different from the solid blue pics, too; the sandals are blue with white straps. YET costs $9.95 to return?!?! Never returned a Rack item - plus same price as the ones I bought from reg Nordstrom - I just liked the blue color to match the boat. THIS is not right to charge a customer when it's the company's mistake.

I picked these up for a summer beach trip as an easy off and on/end of day shoe that I could dress up or down. The reality is that they have become my rental house shoes, my recovery shoes after hikes, and still are my going out to dinner shoes. The footbed rises to meet my high arches (just like on a standard Birkenstock foot bed) but I can be just a tad bit rougher with them. Great comfort and have a fair bit of breath ability when you wiggle your foot about to keep any one spot from getting too sweaty. The green colorway is a bit more complex than an army green and is an excellent neutral in any wardrobe. I don't get the hype. They're just okay. Not as comfortable as I expected them to be after reading all of the other rave reviews. My feet ached terribly after wearing them the first time. I had blisters on both feet, and I'm definitely wearing the right size. The material is much less durable than I expected it to be. It scuffs and scrapes so easily. I much prefer the knock off brand from Kohl's for a fraction of the price. These are not worth the price tag and I definitely won't be purchasing another pair.

I found it to be true to size but I did have to tighten the straps quite a bit. I consider myself to have average width feet and this is supposed to be the narrow width but I still found it quite wide. However, the sizing was not an issue for me because the straps are adjustable and I think if I were to go down a size, it would have been too small length wise for my foot.My major complaint about these shoes is that they just make too much noise. When your feet are dry, they'll occasionally make a farting noise. At first they seem a bit on the flimsy side and for light duty. They're light in weight as if constructed from some vegetable extract plastic like material. However once I put them on I Ioved the customary arch support. My feet find themselves enveloped in the seemingly appropriate, comfortable, molded convex shape. They feel great to put on and walk around. I'm using them mostly for inside my house. I'm not sure how well they would survive as an outside, heavy duty use sandal. Mostly for the beach. the pool etc IMHO
These shoes were gifted to me, and thankfully so. I would’ve never spent this much on a pair of plastic sandals before, but now I will be a Birkenstock fan until the day I die. Mine were gifted to me 2.5 years ago and I’m not kidding when I say I wear these everywhere. I am an avid hiker and I even wear them on hikes because they are that comfortable. After daily wear for 2.5 years of my life, mine are just now needing a replacement. They are water proof, slip proof, easily washable, and they hold up years longer than off-brand alternatives. I love these!
I bought these a summer or 2 ago in the army green after my boys had these black. They were so comfy on and didn't break the bank. I am a woman and wear a size 10 so went with the size 41 in the black and they fit perfectly. I did not like the women's version of this sandal. The footbed was too narrow on them and I do not have wide feet. The men's version hides my bunions and there still is wiggle room w/o being too wide. If you do have a wide foot these are great d/ the wider foot bed and the adjustable straps. FYI- I like my straps on the tightest options. Bonus that these will be waterproof to wear by the pool this summer. Also, more colors!!!!
I really like these waterproof slides but, they replaced an EXACT $8 knock off pair I purchased on a beach vacation 2 years ago. (I honestly liked the $8 pair better). I worry about how long these will last before they start to crack at the inner corner of the big toe due to natural foot movement while wearing them (other reviews said this was a problem) I chose these over other brands/types because of the decent arch support. I'm hoping these last longer than the $8 knock off pair I had, but at the end of the day, its a basic plastic shoe with a limited lifetime. Do note, that these slides are only available in 'narrow' shape rather than the regular 'wide' foot bed shape of most birkenstocks.
Love Birkenstock EVA sandals! Pros? They are light, comfortable, easy to clean, relatively inexpensive, and come in lots of neat colors. Cons are few: the sandals only last one or two seasons and eventually need to be replaced. However, I recently bought a pair (online, without trying them on) that were stamped size 40 but were clearly a larger size. I compared them to a previously purchased size 40--there was a three-quarter inch difference in the length. So buyer beware, particularly if you assume you know your size and purchase online.
