I read on Google that you have to start by wearing them an hour a day and increase the time for the next two weeks where they will feel comfortable as they form to your feet and your feet get used to them. So, it took about three weeks but they are oh, so very comfortable and supportive now that I went out and bought a second pair! They always look great with a pair of flared or bell bottom jeans or jean shorts. Very happy with them and I have noticed that my lower back does not hurt as often since I started wearing them.

These Birkenstocks were the only thing my 21 year old wanted for his birthday, and I was thrilled that Dicks offered the shoes with fast shipping. The shoes are great and arrived on time. However, the box was so torn up that it fell apart when taking it out of the package. Itās a bummer because my kid keeps all of his shoes in their original boxes. Iāll still shop at Dicks, this is the first ānegativeā experience Iāve had.

I have a high arch and was suffering from plantar fasciitis and haglund's deformity (aka pump bump) before I switched to wearing Birkenstocks 99% of the time. The narrow Arizona fits like a glove. It took about 3 days to get used to the harder sole, but once I did, all was well. I have a couple of other styles that I switch out with, but my feet prefer the Arizona. I usually replace every 5-6 months, but keep in mind that I wear these shoes from the time I get up until it is time for bed, almost every single day.
Itās been awhile since Iāve owned a pair of Birkenstocks. This shoe purchase was sort of like seeing an old, beloved friend after many years apart. A few things have changed, like the synthetic straps, but still a versatile and classic sandal.Interesting that the womenās & mens are identical, I picked my pair from the menās area because the womenās didnāt have the color I wanted in size 41. So just a tip, if you canāt find your size or color, check the other department !Lastly come on DSW, start including these in your promotions at least āin store onlyā or once per yearā¦geesh, donāt be so cheap.
Bought these online forgetting that DSW only sells narrow Birkenstocks online. Whomp whomp. The description says medium width, but the sandal box notes narrow, and they are definitely a narrow fit. My feet are average, and my heels were spilling over the heel cup. Returning these and purchasing from the Birkenstock store because DSW doesnāt sell my desired color (copper) in store in a regular/wide width. Hoping I remember next year and donāt make the same mistake a 3rd time, lol! Definitely a beautiful sandal if you have a narrow foot! Super recommend. Iām on my 3rd pair of the regular/wide fit, and I love them.
I have several pairs of Birkenstocks and have worn them for years. This was the first pair for my husband - a podiatrist recommended them because he has problems with his feet. He has tried them - but never gave them time to 'break in' - the podiatrist told him to give them at least a week. He did and he loves them. Wears them every day when he's not in recommended sport shoes. I'm sure he'll get a second pair because they are so comfortable and help with his foot issues.
I used to love Birkenstocks but recently they have narrowed them. Why when you already offer medium and narrow in most. I took pics of my black two strap Birks bought 2 years ago lined up with these. Big difference. I tried uploading but the website wouldnāt let me.So women with a wide feet canāt get them in cute colors anymore I guess. Time to look for a new brand
I have been trying to "wear them in" for months now to no avail. Most uncomfortable sandals I've owned, and for the astronomical price, sorry they should feel comfortable! The soles are like walking on plastic boards. I don't understand the popularity of these. My feet literally hurt after wearing these.They fit my wide feet as they have adjustable straps and they're made well, if only they felt okayš
It's Birks. You either love them or you hate them. But you know what you're getting. My daughter loves these things, and she literally wore her last pair down to the core. When it came time to replace them, it was hard to find anyone that had them in stock. I would not have expected Dicks's to have them in stock. So we got a good price, very fast delivery, and a happy daughter.
