I love Birkenstocks and have been wearing them for years, because they are so comfortable, but they are quite expensive. I have read other reviews where people say they have been wearing the same pair for years. That is not my experience. I wear mine instead of slippers when at home, and the cork soles last barely a year. Usually the cork sole disintegrates at the front. I find it disappointing that - considering the cost - they do not last longer.

Comfortable, Versatile and Should Last Forever

I've had a pair of Birk Milanos for over 20 years and decided these would be a good addition to my wardrobe.The black buckles blend in for a simple look, which I like. They're perfect for wearing with shorts, trousers, jeans, dresses etc, and they're very comfortable. I usually go for a 5.5 and ordered these in a 6 as half sizes weren't available, and they're a good fit. I have fairly narrow feet and don't notice these fitting (or looking) different from the standard width ones; of course, there's room for adjustment with the buckles if they feel too loose or tight.A good pair of sandals that should get plenty of wear and, if they're anything like my other pair, should last for years.

Cut massive

Absolute joke. I ordered these for my partner as a Christmas present at the beginning of November. Wrapped them up and he was thrilled with them until he tried them on to discover they were huge (all his shoes are 10.5’s) been told I can’t return or exchange them because the time has passed. Explained that there was no way of knowing earlier because they were brought as a Christmas gift. I can’t afford to throw that kind of money away and it’s ruined his present cause I can’t exchange for a smaller size! ASOS HAVE JUST LOST A LONG TIME CUSTOMER!

Fake!!!! BUYER BEWARE!

These are fake, I was trying replace my current ones with a new pair. Thought I was getting a good deal. Wording is not supposed to be yellow, size is supposed to go after foot stamp but it doesn't and to top it off fake leather! Why???? Packaging was correct even with wrapping, but I knew something was up when it package got held up in customs. Paid a lot of money to be duped. I can't believe Walmart doesn't verify what they are selling on their website. I am so upset, what a joke!

Light weight

I actually bought these in the leather alternative - apologies to my vegan friends. I get blisters very easily, especially in summer so needed leather. I measured my foot length and chose 3.5 in narrow fit. My shoe size is 4 (trainers 5). Was a little concerned they weren't long enough t'il I realised your foot needs to fit exactly into the 'indentations'. I'm now converted, they hold my foot securely, without rubbing or chaffing, I almost don't feel I have anything on my feet. Hopefully they will last as long as other reviews suggest 🤞🏼

Most comfortable shoes

I have bought several pairs of these shoes for my two daughters and l. We probably have, if not close to every different style of straps to the different materials that they make them in to several different colors. We absolutely love our Birkenstocks! They are the most comfortable sandles/shoes made (my opinion). We wear our older ones, just as much as we do the ones we’ve purchased most recent. They are all in great shape, the suede might hv lightened up a little from the sun, a llittle rough in some spots from sand or got wet, just normal wear and tear like anything else. They get a little more computable every time I put them on. Oh boy do I normally have trouble getting comfortable sandal

Pricetag sticker ruined the show sale!

These were a regular priced item, no discount. The store put price stickers on the footbed of the shoe, which would not come off. Had we continued to try, it would have ruined the shoe. The sales agent tried and said there was no way it was coming off. Again, these were a full priced, non-discounted item. We ended up going to another retailer to purchase the shoe without a sticker on it. Poor choice in labeling the shoe that way. No one wants to pay full price for a shoe that will have a sticker on it (tacky) or get ruined by removing it. We still got the shoe but you lost the sale.

Seems like something changed but still enjoyable

I wear birkenstock for almost 15 years, between 4 and 10 hours per day. I tried many other brands and copies they were as good as true birk's. In the past I also had wide footbeds that fitted perfectly and soft footbeds that were so comfy. These sandals I just bought seem to be wide enough for my large foot even if it was not written on the box nor narrow, but the arch under the toes goes a little too angulated... Hope it will fit my foot perfectly in few weeks as I walk with them. The birko flor material is a bit hard but I'm sure it will soften with uses.

So comfy

I was extremely apprehensive about purchasing Birkenstocks as they are quite expensive for sandals, however I understand the hype now! They are so comfy and have moulded to my feet perfectly. It took about a week for them to be worn in, but I've had no issues with rubbing or blisters. I bought the narrow fit sandals as they were slightly cheaper but they fit perfectly, and I don't have narrow feet! The first pair I bought had a lot of glue on them so I returned them, but the second pair I ordered were perfect. Really happy with the quality, fit, colour and size. Would definitely recommend this product.
