I purchased this pair from a local Birkenstock store because I was too impatient to wait for QVC to ship them. As soon as I tried them on, I knew I had to have them. I am a long-time Birkenstock wearer and have purchased many, many styles, but I will say the classic Arizona never disappoints. The fit is perfect (Size 7; 38) and they do not require any break-in period. I can wear them all day in pure comfort. I purchased them in white and they are so pretty. These will be my go-to summer shoe!

Have several different colors and when I wear them out I replace them with the same color. I have neuropathy and cannot wear closed toe shoes and my son and daughter-in-law gave me my first pair and I have been wearing them ever since. I love Birkenstock sandals. They make my feet feel good.

I'd gotten away from the classic Arizona style in the past few years, and these shoes are a good reminder of why I loved them in the first place. They're comfortable straight out of the box and they look adorable. I have Morton's neuromas in both feet and I also have uncooperative arches. I can stand and walk all day long at school without problems in Birks. I like the gold color with the big buckle. They're slightly snazzier than my usual brown leather. The gold and the buckles kick it up a notch.

Have not worn Birkenstocks in many years but wanted to give them another try. I read on Google that you have to start by wearing them an hour a day and increase the time for the next two weeks where they will feel comfortable as they form to your feet and your feet get used to them. So, it took about three weeks but they are oh, so very comfortable and supportive now that I went out and bought a second pair! They always look great with a pair of flared or bell bottom jeans or jean shorts. Very happy with them and I have noticed that my lower back does not hurt as often since I started wearing them.
Purchased my first pair of birkes this June..I like that they feel sturdy, they do have some good traction at the bottom so I won’t be doing any sliding around. I’m still getting used the to actual inside sole of the sandals..but apparently it’ll mold to my exact foot pattern. Seems like it does get dirty quick..which I accidentally got them wet from spilling something and it kinda left a stain. Either way still enjoy them right now. I do love the color comb. Got a psi for my hubs too..no complaints from him lol
I've had my Birks for about four years now and they are my go-to shoe. Super easy to just slide on and run out the door. I also love the aesthetic. That being said, my Birks definitely look a lot older than four years. I took them on a trip to the Mediterranean the summer after I first got them and made the mistake of wearing them to the beach and walking miles in them. Now, as I turn the corner on year 5 of wearing these basically every day, the cork is separating, the buckles have rusted completely, the inside of the straps ball up, and I've had to replace the sole. I do like them a lot though and just bought a replacement pair (most of these issues are probably because I didn't really take good care of them). So long as you take good care of the shoe, they will treat you well. It is also worth noting that the first month or two are kinda painful wearing them before they break in. Once they break in, though, you are basically wearing a mold of your own feet.
I recently broke my toe and needed a sandal that had lots of support and would help me while my foot was healing.I normally wear a size 7 shoe so I ordered a 38. This size was uncomfortable and too large. I ordered the 37 and it fit much better. I was told that the sandal starts off stiff and uncomfortable because it needs time to break in and form to your foot. The sandals are still new, but definitely more comfortable now that they are broken in a bit. I would definitely recommend trying these on in the store before purchasing to get the right size.
This sandal is more expensive than other similar brands, but SO worth it! The arch support and fit are excellent and the firm sole is just what my feet need. With leather uppers and foot bed that can be wiped clean I hope these "Birks" will last a long time. (I saw a pair of 'Birks" in a shoe repair shop today ((don't know what they needed)) but I haven't seen the style on any website, so they are probably very old.) The fact that the repair shop could work on them is outstanding since most of the newer cheaper sandals can NOT be repaired... just thrown away!
I LOVE these birks. I wear them all year round. However, I recently ordered a new pair and they were too narrow. They are the size I normally wear so I was confused. The box said that they were narrow, but I was sure I had ordered a regular. I looked back at the product description and it says "medium." After looking at the Birkenstock website, I realized that they sell two sizes "narrow/medium" and "regular/wide". So just be warned, these are not the regular width Birkenstocks so size up! Still great shoes though!
i love birkenstocks but i will never buy them from DSW again. the description on the dsw website says "The shoe’s fit is medium width but listed by Birkenstock as Narrow Fit or Regular Fit on the item box." This is not really accurate. Birkenstocks come in 2 widths: narrow/medium and regular/wide. When you order them from DSW you do not get a choice, it's just a random pick between the two. Narrow/medium is too narrow for me so i need to order them directly from Birkenstock or go in store and hope that they happen to have the correct width in stock in order to be sure I will get regular/wide width.
