For about a week when you first get there, it's a good idea to wear socks because it is not always comfortable. There is a break-in period where the slides mold to the shape of your feet, but once it does it's tough to want to wear anything else. I've been wearing these all summer long and I love them. They are pretty durable, extremely comfortable and I wear them basically everywhere. If you're a person that loves to wear slides, this is well worth the purchase.

I'm usually a side 9.5 - 10 US Mens and I decided to order the size suggested for 10-10.5; I've got just enough room for these to be comfortable, but if I ordered the 9 - 9.5 size I think I would've been uncomfortable.

These sandals are cute in Taupe suede. However, I had bad luck and kept getting a pair that didnāt work. One pair was entirely too loose on me 39/8. I reordered and the second pair appeared to be a floor model and it was all worn out, so I got a third pair - by that time I lost interest and returned them all. The suede seems to stretch out fairly quickly. They also donāt fit snug immediately so I know they would be flying off my feet and hard to walk in if they were too loose. My foot is regular with high arches. I was also afraid the taupe suede would get a million stains. So, I got black Birko-flor instead and I love my birks. Super comfy, stylish and they look so good with jeans!
I had foot problems years ago and my doctor said "never be barefoot" and insisted I wear (clean, unused) Birkenstocks inside the house- I did wear a clean pair inside and I became ADDICTED to them. Now I have indoor and outdoor pairs. I've bought a variety of pairs to wear indoor OR outdoor and it doesnt ever seem to matter what the footbed is- if its the cork, "soft slide" or not, it does the trick. I haven't had foot problems since!

This is my first pair and I'm anxiously anticipating when they are broken in. I usually buy a cushy type of sandal/shoe but keep coming back to these for the cute style. It's the exact look I wanted I almost purchased Dansko sandals that look like Birks but are a cushier footbed. In the end, I preferred the color in the Birkenstock. I chose the mocha with the rose gold buckles. These will be my go to sandals this summer so I hope I chose right. I'll give 5 stars because I know they are quality but I'm still unsure how supportive or comfortable they will be wearing all day. Wish me luck!! Happy Birthday to me!! Btw, I'm 58. Old feet!! I have lost count of the number of Arizona Birkenstocks I have bought over the years so it figures - I love them. They're comfortable, hard wearing and they're "my look". I know my size and I'm "regular" fit. No problems there. My only hesitation with this pair was the description. In the picture I could see what appeared to be tan suede Birkies. This was exactly what I was looking for. However, Bstore described them as "orange". I vacillated for days until I took the plunge. The package arrived very quickly, as always, and I held my breath as I tore open the packaging. Whew!!!!! They looked just like the picture. They are fabulous!! 5/5 as usual. Thank you Bstore but perhaps rethink "orange"?
These felt really comfortable, but I had to return them. The end of the shoes where you toes go is at a very steep angle. My toes are not arranged that way. If you're like me with long toes, perhaps the second longer than your bigger toe, you'll probably need to pass on this shoe. I normally wear Chacos, and the almond shaped toe looks totally fine with my toes.

They are not the wider shoe of the original Birkenstockās of years ago, BUT, this only makes them less clunky and more attractive looking, not uncomfortable, if you have medium width feet. If your feet are very wide and you typically buy a wider shoe (you usually order āwā wide; not ārā regular width), then these may be too narrow for your foot.Both colors are great! The suede straps will stretch more than the ones with leather straps (I also ordered one pair of these), so I will tighten the straps on the suede pairs 3 holes in from the right outside, and the leather straps 2 holes in from the right outside. Iām thinking if I tightened the leather straps to the 3rd hole, I may get some blisters until they are broken in. If the leather straps loosen too much over time (I doubt they will), I can always tighten them 1 hole in. If the suede straps loosen too much over time, I can always tighten them 1 hole in as well.Very cute shoes....so glad I decided to order them!
