Purchased these for my 14 year old. They are high quality, lasting and comfy sandals. There is nothing bad to say about them. A loyal Birkenstock wearer, I have been wearing them for decades. Sizing is not necessarily in line with standard US sizes, I find you have to try them on to get the right fit. I had to purchase two pairs for my son to get the right size for him.

A comfortable gift for my wife. I have a pair of birko-flor as well as the classic arizona sandals. The straps are softer and dont' take the same time break in time. Same support as the classic. Ideal for a vegan or leather conscious individual. I find that the sizes do run true.

If I lived in a land with no winters, this would be the only pair of footwear I would own. After breaking them in, there is nothing than a Birkenstock........one issue though, these guys need to innovate and come up with a better, slower wearing tread. I go through a pair every 2 years or so. The bottom tread wears very fast, and once you wear it down to the cork the whole thing is ruined.Sizing wise I stick to 40 (7-7.5 US) which fits my foot shape perfectly....my regular shoe size is 9-9.5.

Everyone knows about Birkenstock.Ive never purchased an expensive pair of sandals before but after cycling though flip flops over the years decided was worth a try. They take some time getting used to as they kind of mold to your foot so be patient. Built to last. Size down
These are obviously known for a reason. They're super comfy and you'll feel like you're walking on clouds.Just be very aware that the sizing is very off here. For reference, I normally wear US size 11-11.5 shoes so I have fairly large feet. If you buy the same equivalent size of Birkenstocks (which uses EU sizes so that would be men's 44), it would be way too long for your feet unfortunately - I'm talking about the front of the sandal sticking out a good 6-7 inches from the tip of your toes. Which makes for an uncomfortable walking experience. For me, I had to go to EU size 41 with these (so that's a full 3 US shoe sizes down as that's equivalent to 8-8.5 US men) to get these to a good fit - there should be no more than about half an inch to an inch of space ... MoreThese are obviously known for a reason. That's my personal experience anyways, so your mileage may obviously vary but just be extremely aware of the sizing disparity before you drop money on these and find out they're way too big for you.
This is my first pair of Birks, and so far they are good. They definitely take some time to break in and form to your feet, I have been wearing mine for a couple of weeks now and they are getting more comfortable but there has been a significant adjustment period for me. Style-wise you they are a little polarizing but I like the way they look. For sizing if you are new to Birks I suggest you try them on if possible, or order a couple of sizes and send back what doesn't work. I usually wear a 12.5 or 13 in athletic shoes so I ordered the 45 (12 - 12.5) and find them a touch big, but I have a bit of a narrow and low volume foot so your situation may differ.
First of all, not real leather and looks very cheap. I usually wear size 7 in women and I have large feet. I usually wear Keen shoes because of that. The 37 was soo big, it’s incredible. Seriously, I don’t know why people go crazy over them. The footbed is very hard and how can you know that you will feel confortable un them eventually?
I simply love them: they are Birks - great quality, extremely comfortable and the best every day summer footwear. The fit is perfect; I ordered women's 8 - 8.5 and my usual size is 8.5-9. I chose dark-brown and I am very happy with the color as I find it pairs well with most of the colors of my summer outfits.
These are my GO TO for summer, fall, and spring. I've travelled over the globe with them, from the city, to the beach, these are amazing. The cork sole slowly conforms to your feet and create ample arch support. The comfort is unparalleled unless you're investing in custom orthotics. One word of warning is to be careful not to get them soaked as the cork doesn't react well to it (wears out faster) .Do yourself a favour and check the sizing chart before ordering. I am several sizes smaller than my usual shoe size.
sizing is a little hard, because im between an womens 8.5 and 9, but the sizes are 8-8.5 and 9-9.5. so i started with a 40, found out they were too big, and exchanged them for a 39. they fit perfectly, so comfy. a little bit of a high arch for me personally but nothing thats uncomfortable. got them in color Stone Birkibuc, theyre like a dark green-grey. would recommend
