They are extremely comfy and don’t feel like they require breaking in. And the Bostons are a nice comfortable go-to shoe for spring and fall. I usually wear a ladies 6-6.5, and this translates into a 36 for Birkenstocks. I tried the 37, but they are too big and Unfortunately, my size was not available at AS. I returned the 37 and am waiting for a 36 to come in stock. Will repurchase when they do.

The strap metal rivet popped off twice! My husband wore the first pair twice when this happened and I returned them. I received the second pair and within 2 minutes of wearing them in the house the same thing happened, the strap rivet popped off. Very disappointed with the quality, these will go back again which is a big waste of time. Probably not going to trust a new pair.

Pay attention to where your toes sit on the ridges.Caveat: Many Nordstrom sales associates tell customers (mistakenly) to size down when they buy Birkenstock Arizonas. If these customers then go on to buy Bostons, they will find them less forgiving in a too small size than the 'Zonas. These poor folks then think, "I should size up," when really they're just back to the size they should have been all along.All that aside, these are great, great shoes. I prefer the harder leather versions to the suedes because I like to slip into these and kick them off without effort. They feel more like true clogs to me that way.

I am very happy with this purchase, but I wasn't so sure at first. When they arrived, they fit my foot, but it was a tight squeeze and the leather was stiff. My feet hurt a bit and I was worried they weren't the right clogs for me. I wore them with socks for the first 2-3 weeks to help with the pain and give them a bit of a stretch. Now they fit like a dream and the leather has softened up on the inside while remaining sturdy on the outside. Highly recommend these shoes!These clogs are fairly heavy and loud. If you live in an upstairs apartment and want to wear these inside, your neighbors will hear you.
Wearing a size 13-14 shoe and being flat-footed, when I find a shoe that fits and feels good, I get it. Sometimes I’ll buy two pair. I’ve been wearing Birks for over 30 years and really appreciate how they make my feet feel. As a former runner and currently an avid walker, slipping these on when I get home is great therapy. I like the closed toe, allows them to be worn as an informal dressy shoe.
I was very happy with the clogs, but one of the grommets/rivets fell off during the first week. I contacted DSW for a pair of replacement shoes, but they did not have the same pair and do not do shoe repairs. I contacted Birkenstock and they told me that they did not have replacement grommets, and referred me to a shoe repair store. I told them that I did not want to pay for shoe repair within the first week of purchase and they said I should go back to DSW to request a discount on the shoes. What a hassle. I love the shoes. Cannot find a replacement pair anywhere and the manufacturer will not send me a new grommet to repair the shoes myself.
I love birkenstocks. i have so many pairs and usually would leave a good review but these shoes didn’t preform like i thought. after a week the sole was crumbled and couldn’t support my heel. i understand the speak of cork bottom shoes but the way these are created makes it easy for them to get ruined destroyed.
The Birkenstock Boston clog is a great shoe. I give it a one star due to the fact that I was sent an already worn pair. The pair I received had the foot bed partly worn in and cork was cracking on the heel of the foot bed. Scratches all over the outside and could see wrinkles/creases from being worn previously.The box it came it was pretty beat up as well so whom ever does online packing or ships items ordered from online did not do a great job if checking condition of items before shipping out to customer.
I ordered these pairs and waited for over a week for my order to arrive and I was so excited to try them out. They arrived in a destroyed box and the plastic bag was torn and I was fine with the poor packaging. THE BIG SURPRISE: they were extremely used. So upsetting! I wish I gave these a 5-star because they're good quality. It's more of a service quality rating rather than an item review.

They do a great job of keeping your feet warm and dry in the rain and cool enough in the spring summer. Perfect footwear for air travel as you can slip them off easily and not look like a weirdo with open toe sandals. Fit is a little different than with the Arizona sandal as I went up a full size and the leather in the toe box and the top of the foot will stretch a bit. At first I adjusted for when I wore socks but now they are perfect with or without them with no adjustment. Perfect for travel if your not sure if you should bring shoes or Sandals these guys do ...
