At first I was concerned if the shoes would be comfortable as the cork base felt very firm and a little sore on my feet, but after wearing them for a week the base shaped to my feet and are now super comfortable. I do recommend you try birkenstocks! It is true what they say that they are a very comfortable shoe!

I've been fired at Birkenstock shop a few times before buying online. People keep saying size down etc but the footbed should have fingerwidth gap at front and back cos the footbed curls slightly on wearing, it's part of the corked moulding to your foot over a few weeks. You will then find with the T-bar ones particularly, that they are uncomfortable because the toe bar will dig in and push into the webbing between your toes. I am always a size 40 in normal shoes and size 40 in Birks.

Excellent style and colour. These are my 1st pair of Birkenstocks. They are quite stiff and uncomfortable when first purchased, but soften up the more you wear them. I can see they they will be my favourite pair of shoes once my foot has molded to them.

Have Birkenstocks, in most of the available colours, to wear with various outfits. Absolutely love them, they are so comfortable and never seem to wear out. In a QLD summer I never wear anything else around the house and most of the time outdoors as well.Sometimes they do get a bit smelly, (the cork footbed) but I give them a good scrub and dry them out in the sun and they have never come to any harm. Best to try on an old pair first if you want to do this.Considering the number of years wear I get out of them they are probably one of the best value for money sandals available.
My first pair of Birkenstocks ordered off Styletread. Love the colour. Very comfortable. Good fit. The size guides and size advice provided (to go one size smaller than normal, for this particular shoe) were very helpful. Therefore I was able to purchase the correct size straight-up (without having to return or exchange).
I am still breaking in these Birkenstocks, however they are already comfortable after only a couple of wears - (traditionally Birkenstocks need a couple of wears to feel like you're walking on clouds, I'm told). They look good and feel good and importantly my foot feels very supported. Simple. A good buy.I would like to make mention of the excellent service I received from 'Styletread'. I had to exchange the original pair I received as they did not feel right. I spoke with Kimberley from Customer Care at Styletread. She was friendly, polite and courteous and eager to help me with the process. I sent my original pair back and 2 days later received the replacement. Well done to Styletread.
I already owned a pair of these and wore them so much over the past 3 years that I wore them down to the point of needing new ones.I love how comfortable they are and they go with all of my casual clothes. I literally wear them every day.
These are my first pair of Birkenstocks and im a convert! They're so comfy and stylish. I bought a size 38 which is my usual size and I could probably go down one size as suggested. I've already ordered another pair in a different style and a size 37 so will see and compare. But they are just the most comfy shoe. I can now understand why they're so popular.
Ah I just love thèse! This is my second pair of this style. I do regret not ordering them sooner so I could have time to break them in before the old ones had to be binned…yes I know Birkenstock do repairs but mine were beyond repairable. Love love love!
