They run large, feel like plastic, and make a VERY LOUD FARTING NOISE when you walk. They're not comfortable at all. My left foot now hurts after only wearing them for a few hours after I got them. I had to walk around the house in a weird way to try and avoid the farting noise. DO NOT BUY THESE.

This is my second pair of Gizeh sandals and is my favorite Birkenstock style. First pair was bought over 10 years ago and is still in exceptional condition. I bought these to replace regular flip flops which I am not really a fan of. My feet look amazing in them especially after a pedicure. Can’t wait to wear these on vacation in October.

I love these. Been buying them for years. I have a neuroma in the ball of my left foot. Felt like a pebble in my foot when I first got it. Now it just bothers me if I walk barefoot. Yoga gets tough but I do it anyway. I have medical orthotics in my regular shoes. Slippers don't work. Birkenstocks? Awesome. Right now, I have these Gizeh sandals in white, red, pink, and yellow. I wear them as slippers inside, sandals outside. I live in them. :) They keep the pain away. My feet love them. They wash easy.

To start these shoes are awesome, super comfy, lightweight and have arch support. I purchased a M and I am a 7.5-8 in most shoes and they fit perfect with a little room in the back. I ordered online during their 40% off everything sale. However, the shoes I received in the mail both had thick strands of dark brunette hair tangled into the shoes. One of the strands was a tangle of hair, it was similar in size to a dust bunny. I tried to give them the benefit, that maybe it was my hair that somehow had grown a mind of its own, crawled down the shoes when I opened them, and cocooned around. But alas, as I am bleach blonde, that’s not the case here. I love DSW and have been a customer since birth, but these were nasty especially during corona virus hygiene scariness. It was EXTREMELY evident I either got a clearance pair of shoes from the store as they came unwrapped w/ the cardboard toe holder ripped and not holding the shoes together, or I got a returned pair of shoes that hadn’t been cleaned or inspected. I know things are crazy in stores due to Corona, but this was gross. Post a nice soak in bleach they are adorable yet again, but I would BEWARE of the HAIR.
I LOVE LOVE the new shoes. I wore them yesterday. they look ALOT nicer that the older Birkenstocks w/the brown foot liner..A little dressy... Makes my foot look better. I love the arch & support of the Birkenstock sandals.I did recommend to a friend. They fit my foot perfectly; I would like to be entered in the Review to Win Sweepstakes. Maybe this works for some, but the front portion hit my toes and I could tell it would be distracting and possibly create a hot spot if i wore it for a lengthy amount of time. So these are going back. There were also extra plastic “tags” that need to be clipped from various spots, like they didn’t clean up the shoe after it was poured into whatever mould it was poured into, to make the plastic pieces. Not a big deal, but I have a large amount of Birks, and I have noticed quality dropping in the recent years.
Appalled at how these shoes were packaged and sent to a customer. Box was mangled, one shoe has sticky residue in the shoe and on the bottom with hair and fuzz. How could a DSW representative see the condition of these shoes and package them and send to a customer? Can I clean them myself? Yes. Should I have to? No. As a long time customer of DSW, I am extremely disappointed this was deemed acceptable to send.The clean shoe was nice and comfortable. Fit true to size. Cute color.
I’ve worn these for years and they are supremely comfortable. I wore out a couple of pairs and ordered replacements in my usual size. Both were extremely narrow and slightly shorter. I sadly thought Birkenstock had changed their cut and that I would never be able to wear them again, but I eventually noticed that the boxes indicated that they are both “narrow fit” even though the only option on the DSW site is “medium.” There is no indication on the site that the shoes are narrow fit but that is what they are sending people.
First off, I love how comfortable the footbed is on these. Unlike the cork bed of regular Birks I didn’t find I needed to break these in - they’re comfortable from the start. The extra large material over the toes is a little annoying. I actually thought I would return these when I first put them on because of this piece; however, I didn’t notice it much as the day went on.The main downfall with these shoes is their incredibly loud squeaking. They didn’t make any noise when I first put them on but as the day wore on they got loud. Embarrassingly so, in fact. And just for reference, they never got wet…this was just typical walking throughout my day. I have these from last year and love the gold. I just bought the pink. So cute. I was walking around my bedroom and my foot started itching. I looked at my foot and realized the sunken in logo was now transferred to my foot! See photo. Make sure you get a pair with the printed logo. Did anyone at Birkenstock test these. Took me about ten minutes to realize this is an issue!
