As they are plastic type material the bottom of your feet get hot/sweat a bit.For what they are, what they are made of, they are pretty awesome.

These sandals are everything I hoped for! I love the traditional Birkenstock styling, but in a light-weight material. The color is vibrant, the thong style is comfortable and the foot bed supportive. I love how the shoes can get wet yet dry in mere moments. I don't find my foot gets sweaty or that the shoe rubs anywhere. I love them and want them in another bright color!

I got this in the lavender color, and was hoping they'd be a good house shoe and casual sandal for outside. I wear an 8 usually, so I sized down, but my feet were still swimming in these. I don't really like how your foot has to sink into the footbed, because it's not easy to slip on despite being a thong. And they just look cheap, so instead of sizing down I'm just going to return.

Saw these lilac Gizeh in Rome in May of 2023. I purchased the light pink and wished I had also purchased the lilac but didn’t 😢. They came up on the website and I was so happy. I now own approximately 8 pairs of Birkenstocks and wear almost daily. I live in a seaside village and the rubber Gizeh are perfect for the sand and water. I’m loving the pastel colours ❤️. Would love a bright orange to complete my range.
I tried the Arizona Essentials. They were too big and my foot with a bunion didn’t fit well. I exchanged for the Gizeh Essentials. I went down a size and they are a good fit. I like that they are very light and waterproof. Looking forward to wearing them often.
I love these Birks for the pool, beach or boat. I got the fondant pink and they are comfy and adorable. They are true to Birk size for me. I am typically a size 8 in most shoes, but wear size 38 in Birks. This review has been provided as a part of an incentive program.
I like these because if I get them wet or sandy, they clean up easy. Unlike the leather style birks which would maybe get stinking once wet. They fit true to size, I’d even say they are good for wide feet, because I have sorta wide feet and they are comfortable. I have to get used to walking in a shoe like this, however, I can really feel it in my calf’s and shins. But it’s a change in what I normally walk around in. I’ll get used to it. I like the white color.
I previously had this sandal in black, and I actually still have them. I’m almost embarrassed to say how long I’ve them for. It is a testament to the durability of the shoe, despite the fact of the material it’s made of. I love how lightweight they are, they’re perfect for summer.
I absolutely love these sandals and have been wearing them for years. I had to replace my last pair because the strap got stretched and almost tore after tripping on some stairs. Have had no other issues. They hold up well, can get wet, are lightweight, colors do not fade in my experience, and are pretty comfy for a foam sandal. I do wish they had different color options but usually come out with new colors every year.
These are sadly very cheaply made and poorly designed. The molding seams are left on the shoe and rub on your toes which will definitely blister after wearing a short amount of time. It’s a shame since they are comfortable everywhere else - footbed and weight are great. But for this price, that ridge is unacceptable.
