These sandals are everything I hoped for! I love the traditional Birkenstock styling, but in a light-weight material. The color is vibrant, the thong style is comfortable and the foot bed supportive. I love how the shoes can get wet yet dry in mere moments. I don't find my foot gets sweaty or that the shoe rubs anywhere. I love them and want them in another bright color!

I got this in the lavender color, and was hoping they'd be a good house shoe and casual sandal for outside. I wear an 8 usually, so I sized down, but my feet were still swimming in these. I don't really like how your foot has to sink into the footbed, because it's not easy to slip on despite being a thong. And they just look cheap, so instead of sizing down I'm just going to return.

I get a new pairs of the black Birkenstock sandals every year. They are so versatile that I can where them when dressing up or going out by the pool. I feel the reviews here are more honest than on Amazon where everyone says they are a true fit. I wear a 9 to 9.5 in a regular shoe but an 8 to 8.5 in a sandal. I ordered an EU 39, the equivalent of the US 8 according to the conversion chart. It was WAY too big ā at least an inch plus! The box lid has a measuring chart that is in millimeters. According to the chart, my foot is 240mm which translates to an EU 37 or US 6(!). I ordered the 37 and it was a perfect fit.The shoe is very comfortable. It cradles the contour of your foot. The shoe is very light and hard to the touch. It looks sharp and can be worn to the pool, beach, dressed up or down. Saw these lilac Gizeh in Rome in May of 2023. I purchased the light pink and wished I had also purchased the lilac but didnāt š¢. They came up on the website and I was so happy. I now own approximately 8 pairs of Birkenstocks and wear almost daily. I live in a seaside village and the rubber Gizeh are perfect for the sand and water. Iām loving the pastel colours ā¤ļø. Would love a bright orange to complete my range.
I tried the Arizona Essentials. They were too big and my foot with a bunion didnāt fit well. I exchanged for the Gizeh Essentials. I went down a size and they are a good fit. I like that they are very light and waterproof. Looking forward to wearing them often.
I love these Birks for the pool, beach or boat. I got the fondant pink and they are comfy and adorable. They are true to Birk size for me. I am typically a size 8 in most shoes, but wear size 38 in Birks. This review has been provided as a part of an incentive program.
I like these because if I get them wet or sandy, they clean up easy. Unlike the leather style birks which would maybe get stinking once wet. They fit true to size, Iād even say they are good for wide feet, because I have sorta wide feet and they are comfortable. I have to get used to walking in a shoe like this, however, I can really feel it in my calfās and shins. But itās a change in what I normally walk around in. Iāll get used to it. I like the white color.
I previously had this sandal in black, and I actually still have them. Iām almost embarrassed to say how long Iāve them for. It is a testament to the durability of the shoe, despite the fact of the material itās made of. I love how lightweight they are, theyāre perfect for summer.
