I was looking for a pair of slip on sandals that would last me a long time. These have been great so far. They did take about 3-4 days to feel more comfortable; now about a week and a half later they feel very molded to my foot. I'm really looking forward to owning them as they break-in even more. One thing thats great about Altitude is that they list the European size for this shoe.This gives a much better idea of what size to buy. I am almost always a true 6 in shoes, but my boyfriend surprised be with a size 6 from another store and they were too big. We retuned those and bought the size 36/5 off of Altitude for much cheaper! As for the look, I have very dainty ankles and lower calves and these don't look clunky at all.
It took me a long time to finally invest more money in good quality sandals! I live in California and I wear sandals or flip-flops all year long. After a many years I recognized that my feet are really flat. So I decided to purchase Birkenstock sandals because they have a supportive longitudinal arch. Evo shipped them very fast. These Birkenstock Gizeh Oiled Leather Sandals look cute, are comfortable, and I can wear them with almost anything (jeans, dress, skirts, shorts,..). I usually wear size 7 or 7.5, so I purchased 38 and they fit perfectly. Definitely I will purchase another pair in the future!
My 1st time ordering at The Hut. A perfect purchase from start to finish. With a little added newbie voucher code bonus. They kept me up dated, and the sandals were shipped out fast. For a speedy next day delivery. The sandals were just as I remember. Comfy cork sole. With a leather Y top upper and a buckle clasp closing. The toe post has not given me any blisters so that's a bonus. I would definitely recommend both the sandals and The Hut for a great buy.
I've been wanting a pair of Birkenstocks for a long time. Since I have bunions, I have to be careful of designs. These sandals work perfectly for my situation. There is a break-in period. At first, the soles are stiff. If you follow the instructions and wear them around the house for a couple of weeks, they will shape into an exact fit. Love these.
I've worn Birkenstocks in the past and loved them. This pair was disappointingly uncomfortable. Not sure why. Size seems ok. Think I need to wear more often so will have to wait for better weather.
I bought these shoes when they were on sale and I was hoping they would work out but they ended up being too narrow. The thong of the shoe was uncomfortable as well as the fabric that was holding the thong was shaped differently that what is shown on the photo. Don't buy the pink iridescent color. For me they were not great quality and I hate to say it but you get what you pay for.

Throw a little polish and BAM, feet that look like I'm intentionally letting them out of sneaker confinement. Guess the moral of the story is.....trust a hippie?
