this pair of sandals has been very helpful for my plantar fasciitis. just look at the construction of the sandals: the arch support prevents my feet from rolling excessively inwards. though footbed is not as cushiony as recovery slides, it actually felt comfortable after the breaking in period. nabawasan talaga yung pain ng feet ko.\n\nthis pair looks stylish. I've tried quite a few ortho sandals, shoes and ortho insoles and while they really work wonders for my aching feet, they do not actually look good 😅. pero my birks does its thing without making me feel meh with the style.\n\nthis particular model may not be good for people with wide feet tho.

I was worried that the piece in between the toes would chaff and rub but it doesn't at all. The strap width is just right, not too thick, not too thin. They are classy and cute and definitely more feminine and a little less unisex hippy than the Arizona style, plus they were cheaper! I really am in love with these sandals and know that we'll be happy together for a very long time. (Don't mind the shabby state of my toenails in these pics, it's the end of winter here and I haven't gotten a real pedi yet). I never thought it was uncomfortable but I did certainly notice it at first. Within a few weeks I didn't notice it at all! They really do conform to your feet!

Comfortable!

These are comfortable right out of the box. I wore them all day with no issues. I had a difficult time deciding which color to buy but finally decided on stone, as I already have brown and black sandals. They’re a nice neutral, gray-brown color. I have several pairs of the Papillo line, but these are my first pair of Birks. They are just as comfortable as I’ve heard. I had a difficult time determining which size to buy. I typically wear between a 6 and a 6.5. The 36 fit just fine, but I decided to go with a wider, looser fit and longer footbed and went with a 37. I totally could have gone with either size. These really run big.

Cute Shoes

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks. They are very cute and they fit perfectly. I found my correct size by trying on in a local store. I've just started breaking them in by wearing inside for a short while at a time. This is not really the pair of Birkenstocks I wanted to order for 2 reasons. They are synthetic "leather" and I'm fairly sure real leather would be more durable. That may not even matter however because according to reviews of this style I have read on other sites, the toe loop often breaks before the rest of the shoe is worn out. I ordered it anyway because it is the only Birkenstock LLBean offers in the regular width. Great for everyday wear

I absolutely love these! They are the first pair of Birkenstocks I have ever bought and I definitely will be buying more. First off, they are extremely comfortable. I’ve worn them all day and have no foot pain. I’ve had mine for several months with almost every day wear over the summer and they still look great. I’ve just followed Birkenstocks cleaning directions and they still look brand new. For sizing I’m normally an 8.5, unless I plan on wearing thick socks air something. I did have to size up to a 9 in these. The 81/2 had everything right on the very edge.

I set myself up!

I bought these wanting to hate them. I first stalked them on HSN, and then the Birkenstock Website, and then finally took the plunge at Nordys, thanks to their generous return policy. I couldn't stomach spending over 100 bucks on corkboard. I figured if I finally buy them, think they're hideous, and that itch will be scratched and I'll never think of them again. Yeah. Well. That's not exactly what happened.. As soon as I put them on, I knew I was done. I knew I was in trouble and I was keeping them. I didn't really have the "break in" period so many people have talked about. They were pretty much golden right out of the box. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I may or may not be looking for other styles! I guess I'm a fan!

Ouch. These hurts

I wanted to love these sandals but omg they hurt my feet so bad. Positive: fits your feet nicely, looks good, adjustable and wide enough. Negative: no cushion whatsoever. the sole is really hard. Feels like you're walking on flat board. When I first bought it I was only wearing it for quick errand so I wasn't on my feet for too long. I finally wore it shopping for 3 hours and omg my feet hurt sooooo bad I had to buy another shoes to wear. Couldn't walk on it anymore. My cheaper sandals like these was more comfortable. These was my first Birkenstock and I really wanted it to work out but unfortunately I had to return it. Will try again.

Terrific looking style.

This is my first time purchasing Birkenstocks. I really like the look of the Mayari. I chose the Stone color. It is neutral, between a grey and brown. I like the crisscross style, which holds my foot in place since I usually have trouble with my feet sliding forward in sandals. These fit well and initially feel good walking around. However, my feet were sore after wearing them for several hours the first time. Maybe I need time to break them in. I’m hoping that’s it, since the description refers to the footbed eventually molding to your feet over time.

These shoes were great, they lasted three and a half years before obvious signs of wear started showing. I can still use them if I wanted but I'm upgrading to a new pair. I live in SoCal so they got year round use. They lived through lots of walking. I also wore them through a pregnancy, they were perfect when my feet would swell. I love these shoes and will be buying another pair soon. It did take a couple of days of breaking in when I first got them but it was worth it for the years of comfort they provided. So comfortable, supportive, and the mocha color is so versatile. You do have to take care of them by cleaning the footed and cork. At one point I had to buy a cork sealer to keep the cork from drying out too much.
