I ordered one size down, and the sandals fit the recipient’s feet perfectly. So, consider getting one size smaller than your actual size.The regular width fits my wide feet quite well. If you have narrow feet, consider getting the narrow width version of this style. Otherwise, the straps can be adjusted to obtain the desired fit as far as width goes but the toe loops cannot be adjusted.As far as longevity goes, Birkenstocks do last for quite a long period of time. I’ve had my Arizona style for 6 years. I’ve only had my Mayari for about a year but I have used it countless times when weather permits. They still look good as new, and I clean mine using the kit.Overall, I highly recommend this Mayari style, especially if you are someone who wants a dressier pair of Birkenstock. They are a beautiful pair.

These birkenstocks have a fresh and fun look. Comfortable as expected. I am a size 8 and bought the size 38 which fit perfectly. The 39 was too big, you want your foot fully in these shoes but not swimming. They have fully adjustable straps for a perfect fit. Great for all day wear at work or out and about. Loved the gold and bought the olive brown too. Brown is pictured. Try them!

Do not purchase these or ANY birks in store. For some reason, they all have the price sticker on the cork footbed. Their price stickers have small security tags under. When I bought these and went to remove the sticker, slowly and carefully, all the cork under got peeled up by the sticker and the security tag was fully embedded in the cork. Who on earths idea was this??? For a $100+ shoe, they really need to reconsider this. Many of their other shoes have the sale sticker on the bottom of the sole. Why Nordstrom why!? These are the perfect sandal. They offer support, comfort, and have tread on the bottom. They do take the shape of your foot, so break them in. The adjustable straps give the perfect fit. I walk a lot and have worn through 2 pairs in 3 years. But, I do that to any brand I buy. For $100, they are a great deal for an everyday, casual sandal that still provides support and a little style.
Flattering and covers a bunion on the side of the big toe. This is my favorite Birkenstock. It's easier for me to wear because I prefer the thong/slipper style over the slide. I worry less about whether it will slide off my feet when I'm walking or running around. The only caveat is that there is a weak spot in the design. After much wear, the toe strap simply pops out of the footbed! I had another color in this style that broke like that after 4 years of wear, and I saw other information online that others had experienced the same problem. It seems that repairing it would cost almost as much or more than buying a new pair. I still liked it enough that I bought a second pair to replace my broken one.
I bought these wanting to hate them. I first stalked them on HSN, and then the Birkenstock Website, and then finally took the plunge at Nordys, thanks to their generous return policy. I couldn't stomach spending over 100 bucks on corkboard. I figured if I finally buy them, think they're hideous, and that itch will be scratched and I'll never think of them again. Yeah. Well. That's not exactly what happened.. As soon as I put them on, I knew I was done. I knew I was in trouble and I was keeping them. I didn't really have the "break in" period so many people have talked about. They were pretty much golden right out of the box. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I may or may not be looking for other styles! I guess I'm a fan!
Love these sandals. Comfortable from day one. I wore them some much the first week, they don’t even look new anymore. They seem big at first, but don’t size down with Birkenstocks. I did that with another style and one foot has never felt comfortable. Just give them a little time and they will fit like a glove. I wear these now instead of my OluKai flip flops which I love.
I wanted to love these sandals but omg they hurt my feet so bad. Positive: fits your feet nicely, looks good, adjustable and wide enough. Negative: no cushion whatsoever. the sole is really hard. Feels like you're walking on flat board. When I first bought it I was only wearing it for quick errand so I wasn't on my feet for too long. I finally wore it shopping for 3 hours and omg my feet hurt sooooo bad I had to buy another shoes to wear. Couldn't walk on it anymore. My cheaper sandals like these was more comfortable. These was my first Birkenstock and I really wanted it to work out but unfortunately I had to return it. Will try again.
Weirdly comfortable bc of the high arch! It has taken me over a week to get used to them, but now I actually prefer these shoes over all my others. I had some quirky pains in my feet as I got adjusted to these shoes. If you’re curious about Birkenstock then this is a good style to test drive. They’re a little bit cheaper and less clunky looking then typical Birkenstock
Birkenstock Mayari sandals are cute and come in many colors to match your personality & outfits. I bought these for my summer pinks, gauzy boho dresses, Tee shirt dresses etc. They are a very feminine style. Even though they are "pretty", they still have the "orthopedic" footbed. They are unbelievably comfortable while improving your gate, & posture because your feet are properly aligned. They are vegan which should make all animal lover happy. This particular style comes in the wider size, so bony toes, this sandal is not for you. I bought the wide shoe because I have Flintstone feet (a brick) but because of an injury my feet hurt if I am on them for too long and they swell.
