My sister is a size 7 and I had to exchange these for a size 6 because they were too big on her. I would also say if you purchase these, prepare to break them in. I would suggest wearing socks to reduce the pain during the break in period.

I’ve never had a pair of Birks before and I’ve been suffering from planter fasciitis... these have saved my foot! Although the break in time took longer then I’d like, they are now the most comfortable pair of sandals ever. I will not go back to anything else. I will for sure be adding more Birks to my shoe collection! For sizing, I am using a size 6-6.5 US, I got a size 5 US. They fit great!

This is probably my 30th pair of Birkenstocks and 2nd pair of Mayari. I bought my first pair of red suede Mayari 20 years ago and still wear them. They are comfortable, durable, versitle and so wearable. I wear Birkenstocks almost everyday - sandals all summer and clogs in the winter. I love the Mayari style and look.
As if dealing with menopause isn't enough, I've started having painful plantar fasciitis. The latter led me to get these shoes to provide support to my feet so I can walk normally again.I read many reviews and I agree w/ the advice that you need to wear the shoes for a few hours or so a day for a couple of days in order to break them in—they're a bit stiff at first. They're really comfortable now and I wear them all the time, so I'm looking for another pair. The Mayari style actually looks pretty nice.Famous Footwear didn't have these at a nearby store, so I had to order them, but they shipped them very fast. I ordered my normal size.
I love this style of Birkenstock, for 2 reasons: 1. The straps are thinner than some of the other styles and the design is very flattering on the foot. 2. The shape of this footbed fits my foot like a glove. I am wider at the toes, have high arches and have a narrow heel. The adjustable straps make them stay put. Just FYI if you never tried this brand before, there is a breaking in period that molds the footbed to your foot for a custom fit. Gives me support in the arches where most other sandals don't.
I bought these for summer walking shoes and with no regret! They are very comfortable, no need to worry about breaking them in because they fit perfectly.
I am a size regular size 8. Given other reviews, I got the size 6 (37). This seems to be correct, but my mother who tried it on said it felt a little tight and uncomfortable. This style is not a wide, so that might be the difference between our fits. I might try a few more styles and sizes before deciding on this one - I still like this stye of the other Birkenstocks.
I've only worn around the house so far as it's still a bit cold for sandals. I bought size 10 based on other shoes I wear. I actually needed size 9. These came recommended by my podiatrist for my plantar fasciitis. I found its better to try on in store for proper fitting.
This was my first pair of Birkenstocks. My sister LOVES hers and highly recommended them. I really like the metallic ones and they go very well with everything in my summer wardrobe, from casual jeans to something a little dressier. The bottom isn't super cushiony, but after wearing them for a while it forms to the bottom of your foot. I have a lot of foot problems, but these are very comfortable for extended periods of wear. I will definitely be getting another pair for next spring/summer!
