I ordered these slippers online, and although they arrived quickly, they were shipped in a plastic bag and the shoe box was totally decimated. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue, but they were intended to be given as a present. I had to transfer them to another box for wrapping - which seemed a bit sketchy for the recipient. Also, the slippers seemed to have been worn and returned. There was fuzz on the soles and they seemed a bit broken in. Regardless, it was too late to exchange them so I gave them as a gift to my husband and he loved them.

Since having failed with Vionic slippers (too wide/poor fit), I knew from wearing my Birkenstock Sandals around the house during the warm Summer months that THESE would most likely be an appropriate slipper for my very important feet! I’m willing to spend the money for slippers that are comfortable and SAFE due to the fit! The Shearing inside is lush and I get my arch support along with what I expect from this brand! ThankYou for having this as an option! I’d encourage anyone to TRY these if you have high arch and require a supportive Warm Slipper!!! True to size. Got the grey!👍🏻🫶🏻

Not normal width! These are narrow width. Nothing was mentioned on the site that says these are narrow. I would not have ordered these if I knew this. Most people wear the original Birks that are normally wide in the toebox area. All of your Birks seem to be narrow.I tried them on and they smash my toes and a big portion of the shearling came out when I removed my foot.Not my normal well-made Birks. Sadly, these will have to be returned.

These slippers are amazing! If you've had Birkenstocks before you know the comfort once they're broken in. The fit and snugness is perfect and definitely feel like they'll keep my feet perfect all winter. If you've never had Birkenstocks before definitely go to the store to try on. You'll want to get the perfect size for your feet! I'm usually a 10-10.5 sneaker and went with a size 42 in these which runs 11-11.5. It is true to Birkenstock sizes as my sandals are also 42.
Pros:- so comfortable- warm- doesn't make feet smellCons:- shearling wore away after 1 month of use. When I contacted birkenstock about this they said it's normal as shearling is natural, and that I can buy replacement inserts from (very limited) distributors. The inserts cost about the same as a brand new slipper! What's the point here? For the price I thought these would last a year+. I am so disappointed it's costing me ~$70/month to wear slippers. I think the positive reviews are of people at first glance, not after being tried and tested. I definitely love birks but would never recommend shearling soles to anyone.
I have used Birkenstock shoes and sandals for the last 30 years and on over a dozen pairs. The quality of this item was fine, but the Fingerhut price was not competitive. The one reason I gave these slippers a four stars is because the show is hard and fixated in a flat position, it has no been to it at all. The photos do not show the flexibility of the sole or rather the lack thereof. My one concern is whether they're going to slide on my plank flooring. If it were not for the way the bottom was constructed, I would give this item a five-star rating.
I had already owned a pair of slippers very similar to these (just in a different color). What I didn't anticipate is how tight they would be initially. They were very, very tight and I could barely get my feet into them. However, after continuing to wear them for several weeks, they stretched out and now I am able to wear them just fine. They are comfortable and provide enough support for my feet around the house, since I am unable to walk barefoot due to foot problems.
I wish I could've kept these. I love all my Birkenstocks - sandals and shoes. Sadly these were too tight. I tried them for about a week to maybe tamp down some of the shearling, but to no avail. It was so tight on my left foot that I actually got pins and needles from wearing it. I had to check that I received the same size shoe for each foot (I did). I so wanted to like these, but unfortunately, they are not up to usual Birkenstock standards.
Beautiful/unique design, in fact the minimalistic design of the shell/exterior was the whole reason I purchased these, and I wasn’t disappointed. Very comfortable. Also; I think it’d be helpful to note that I have been wearing them somewhat regularly for a week+ now and haven’t encountered anything like the ‘immediate wearing of the lining-problem’ described by most negative reviews for this product. The lining seems sturdy and in place. Only con would be that they seem to run slightly small.
These slippers didn’t last like normal birks do! I was so disappointed. The bottom rubber sole turned gummy and picked up every piece of dirt or hair. They made a sticking sound when walking on vinyl or wood floors. I contacted Birkenstock and they said not to expect them to last more than a year. And I only wore them in the cold part of winter! Horrible quality and I’d never buy them again. They went in the garbage.
