I am in love with this sandal! It provides so much support and comfort, I can no longer wear regular flimsy flip flops. It also looks so cute, not at all ugly like most shoes that are made for comfort. Obviously the comfort comes from breaking in the shoes and having them mold to your foot, which takes a few wears. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who wants a comfortable walking shoe that provides support and also goes with nicer outfits as well as regular ones! Also about the seller, amazing. So fast in shipping the order, and provides a little sass to humor you. Overall I am so happy with my purchase from Moosejaw! I will be buying from them again!

Love these sandals! Primarily they are so cute and so comfortable too! The antique lace color has just the right amount of iridescence to make them dressy or casual. I accidentally bought the wrong size online and Moosejaw was so helpful exchanging them in the store for the right size. Great service!

I have had these shoes for 3 years now and they are still in great condition. I love my Birkenstocks. They are easy to dress up or dress down. These shoes are great for every day life as well as travel. They are easy to pack. They also come in so many great colors. I have taken them with me to Australia, Thailand, Morocco, and Italy. Once they are broken in they mold greatly to your feet and will be comfortable all day.
They are what they claim to be. Very comfortable. I find them expensive for what they are. Some eubber, pressed Cork man made leather ans a buckle. But there you go. The name is expensive and what price comfort?
I’ll be honest, if these weren’t in style I never would have gotten them in a million years, but with every blogger in the universe rockin’ Birks I figured I could give them a try. I had a baby a couple years ago, and between gaining 50lbs while pregnant, and carrying around my now two year old, my days of cute (totally flat) sandals are done. These took a couple weeks to break in, though they weren’t terrible out of the box - just a little stiff, now they are one with my foot and likely not coming off all summer long!I have a wide forefoot, but went with their “narrow” because, vanity, and they are a comfortable width. Their regular might have been a better fit for me, but I felt like they exaggerated my already slightly wide foot and I just couldn’t do it.
I've been wanting a pair of Birkenstocks for a long time. Since I have bunions, I have to be careful of designs. These sandals work perfectly for my situation. There is a break-in period. At first, the soles are stiff. If you follow the instructions and wear them around the house for a couple of weeks, they will shape into an exact fit. Love these.
This is the fourth pair of the Gizeh sandal I have purchased. They are so supportive and comfortable (once broken in), which I have especially appreciated over the last year because I've had plantar fasciitis. They are stylish, too, and don't feel as clunky to me as some of the other Birkenstock styles.
I bought these shoes when they were on sale and I was hoping they would work out but they ended up being too narrow. The thong of the shoe was uncomfortable as well as the fabric that was holding the thong was shaped differently that what is shown on the photo. Don't buy the pink iridescent color. For me they were not great quality and I hate to say it but you get what you pay for.

Makes it hard to find shoes, especially sandals, that dont give off geriatric or cavemen vibes, no offense.Of course I went through the cheaper options, I'm only human. I dont think Im one to drag my feet, but after a few months most of the soles of my sandals were non-existent. They keep my heels and arches in check like a Navy Seal drill sergeant, and that lonely long toe can join the rest of the piggies, safely tucked inside the front lip of the shoe. Throw a little polish and BAM, feet that look like I'm intentionally letting them out of sneaker confinement. Guess the moral of the story is.....trust a hippie?
