I decided to try a couple pairs of Birkenstocks again, after not buying any for several years. I like the idea of this shoe: waterproof, cheery white, perfect for summer. Unfortunately for me, the upper straps, even at their loosest, cause irritation and redness on my tailor bunions (outside edge of foot.) I tried them around the house for several hours, and realized that I would not be able to wear them without pain. Birks should not cause pain! So they are going back, but I do recommend them if you need a waterproof shoe and your feet donât have the same issues as mine.

I don't get the hype. They're just okay. Not as comfortable as I expected them to be after reading all of the other rave reviews. My feet ached terribly after wearing them the first time. I had blisters on both feet, and I'm definitely wearing the right size. The material is much less durable than I expected it to be. It scuffs and scrapes so easily. I much prefer the knock off brand from Kohl's for a fraction of the price. These are not worth the price tag and I definitely won't be purchasing another pair.

Idk why people like these. They are terrible quality for price. They are as light as a feather and made of foam/paper. I canât see them lasting very long at all. I HIGHLY do not recommend. I found the same shoes without the brand name for 5 dollars else where. Iâve also seen better shoes than these at the dollar tree. Seriously, donât waste your money. Go and buy these same style for half the price elsewhere. I never leave reviews but I had to for these because I was so shocked at how poor the quality was.
This is my third pair of these, and I'm actually disappointed that I wore them and didn't return. I purchased the bright pink ones this time, and they are so different than my other two pairs. They are more narrow, clearly smaller if you hold the soles together, and they're SO much less comfortable. I got a blister my first time wearing them, which has NEVER happened, and they don't support my arches at all. Very disappointed getting a product I love and having it be so changed.
I was so excited when I received these. Loved the color. Fit was perfect - did order a size down. Very comfortable and would have been perfect for an upcoming trip that included lots of walking and beach time. But, they made weird sounds when I walked. The arch would make a sucking sound and the rest was just squeaking. I tried everything to stop it - nothing worked. So they got returned. Sigh.

I purchased the multi metallic, they are cute and needed to adjust the straps to as tight as possible so that they were not too big. I purchased the 8/8.5 and normally wear an 8. I find Birkenstocks clunky on my feet, but I see so many people wearing them and wanted to give them a try to run around town/city streets during warm weather. They seem comfortable enough, though I havenât really given them a go yet, was considering even returning them. I used my rewards points, perks and remaining balance on a gift card to buy them ... I gotta say a $54.95 sticker price is kinda steep for a pretty flimsy sandal. If I keep them they better hold up for the summer at that price!

As soon as I opened them I was disappointed. I could see them lasting maybe 10 mins at the beach. Just throw away shoes literally. I broke down and went back to what I knew would be a purchase to last me awhile. These are like real sandals - not foam, not disposable but quality shoes you can wear to the beach and beyond. I did just that - they went from sand to store and my feet felt great the whole way. Birks are not the prettiest shoes but they feel great. Your feet will be happy in these and nothing can ruin them - sand, water, ice cream spills, etc. Then you get to hose them down when you get back home!
