They aren’t intended to be structurally equivalent to a regular pair of Birks that have a cork/molding footbed. These are perfect for their function: easy sandals for slipping on quickly to walk around the yard, garden, house, etc. I personally wear them around the house with a pair of socks and they feel like a dream! Coral color is brighter than photo.

Always my go to in the warm weather! I typically wear a 7.5 to and 8 sneaker and I always get the 37 in these,,, I can also wear the 38 as well but I have average to narrow feet and I prefer the 37! I can’t always wear Birkenstock’s as they are a bit wide for me but the summer Arizonas , In my opinion, are not as wide.Love that each year there are new added colors to choose from! And great for yard work as you just wash them off! The added shape and support is worth it to me! Always wear the dark olive green and now I bought the lime green! Love them!!

I decided to try a couple pairs of Birkenstocks again, after not buying any for several years. I like the idea of this shoe: waterproof, cheery white, perfect for summer. Unfortunately for me, the upper straps, even at their loosest, cause irritation and redness on my tailor bunions (outside edge of foot.) I tried them around the house for several hours, and realized that I would not be able to wear them without pain. Birks should not cause pain! So they are going back, but I do recommend them if you need a waterproof shoe and your feet don’t have the same issues as mine.

I can’t rave enough about this Birks Arizona waterproof sandals. I recently wore this to a 3-day vacay in Niagara Falls Canada. We walked at least 11k steps in a day and I did not get a single blister or callus. It is mad comfy. I have wide feet with high arch. My shoes are typically 5.5 (yes I have small feet) so i ordered 5-5.5 and it fits great. I wore these badboys to the Hornblower boat ride (Canadian version of Maid of the mist), and it was perfect for it since it was waterproof. It was not slippery either because of the ridges at the bottom of the shoes. It dried on its own as we strolled around and did more activities. I know it is pricey for a waterproof sandal but it is worth it so stop debating and buy these!! I found it to be true to size but I did have to tighten the straps quite a bit. I consider myself to have average width feet and this is supposed to be the narrow width but I still found it quite wide. These shoes were gifted to me, and thankfully so. I would’ve never spent this much on a pair of plastic sandals before, but now I will be a Birkenstock fan until the day I die. Mine were gifted to me 2.5 years ago and I’m not kidding when I say I wear these everywhere. I am an avid hiker and I even wear them on hikes because they are that comfortable. After daily wear for 2.5 years of my life, mine are just now needing a replacement. They are water proof, slip proof, easily washable, and they hold up years longer than off-brand alternatives. I love these!
I was so excited when I received these. Loved the color. Fit was perfect - did order a size down. Very comfortable and would have been perfect for an upcoming trip that included lots of walking and beach time. But, they made weird sounds when I walked. The arch would make a sucking sound and the rest was just squeaking. I tried everything to stop it - nothing worked. So they got returned. Sigh.
I really like these waterproof slides but, they replaced an EXACT $8 knock off pair I purchased on a beach vacation 2 years ago. (I honestly liked the $8 pair better). I worry about how long these will last before they start to crack at the inner corner of the big toe due to natural foot movement while wearing them (other reviews said this was a problem) I chose these over other brands/types because of the decent arch support. I'm hoping these last longer than the $8 knock off pair I had, but at the end of the day, its a basic plastic shoe with a limited lifetime. Do note, that these slides are only available in 'narrow' shape rather than the regular 'wide' foot bed shape of most birkenstocks.
