The mop works well on floors, but... I purchased this model because I wanted the lift-off handheld steamer. Unfortunately, I can't use the handheld steamer in some of the ways I was hoping. It was shortsighted to design this (or purchase it) without a hose connection for attachments. It does not come with a hose connection, and one is not available for purchase as an accessory. It's fine for easily accessible surfaces. Its lack of flexibility makes it challenging for cleaning the bathtub (see pic) and nearly impossible to maneuver over the entire surfaces to clean the kitchen and bathroom sinks. I've had the attachment come off of the steamer a couple of times trying to get the sinks cleaned. I have had this steam cleaner for about a year, I absolutely love it! However there are some issue that have to be solved. The biggest disappointment is the fabric steamer attachement, it is faulty. It does not snap into place as well as the other pieces. I have had 2 others went to me and they all do the same thing. As you are using this attachment, it will come off on its own. Very dangerous in my opinion. I constantly have to hold the steamer at an angle so it does not detach. Also, this machine needs an on off switch instead of a trigger. It becomes annoying after a while. And lastly, the stick has become loose, it moves side to side when using.

I really enjoyed this machine. I had high hopes, and they didn't quite get met with this device, but not disappointed either. The steam could have a little more oomph to it, for the handheld you really have to hold It against the surface of something to get the dirt up. I will say that I do not like that the steam doesn't just start coming out right away. You have to hold the button down for a good 30 seconds, wait for your lights to dim (I assume it is using more power when trying to produce steam) then it comes out. Do not release the button or you will have to start the process over again. For the amount of time it takes to start producing steam, I would expect to get more "steam" time, but again not a commercial use machine. I was able to clean my toilet, sink, and counter on 1 1/2 water refills so not too shabby I would say. The attachment tools are pretty neat as well, able to scrub pretty well with the scrubber brush. They do soften up though when you have continued use which I assume would decrease the usefulness of the brush. I do really enjoy this machine. The cleaning pads are easily removed and installed and just throw them in the wash one done and you have a fresh, good smelling pad for next use!

Seriously... this is a dynamo when it comes to making the wood and tile floors throughout our home squeaky clean (and, yes I do mean SQUEAKY!) We've been in our home for eight years and the floors have never looked better! I also used the grout attachment to clean the white grout in my entryway tile (what was I thinking having white grout at the front door entrance?!) It did an amazing job and brought up all the dirt making the grout white again. I can't wait to use the steamer on my queen sized duvet cover which comes out of the dryer wrinkled and is a bear to iron. Why, oh why, didn't I know about this steam mop sooner??
Steam mops are magical! My cleaning heart is so happy! We moved in three years ago and the floor in our bathroom has always looked like this. I probably scoured 30+ years of grime out of these tiles. So gross! Still not my favorite tile, but I can at least live with it for a little while longer and not get totally disgusted every time I look at it. The Bissell Powerfresh Slim 3-in-1 is my new best friend! Using the handheld pod, red brush, and a bit of elbow grease to scrub both tile and grout it performed really well. The grime was really built up and I had to clean out the bristles often, but I was expecting that for the initial deep clean. I also pretreated the tile flooring with a vinegar solution to loosen the dirt before scrubbing and that worked like a charm. ... MoreSteam mops are magical! My cleaning heart is so happy! For a big job like this I had to refill the tank several times, but if there was a larger water tank it would have added extra weight and made it difficult to maneuver the pod. Haven't tried the extension arm or the mop head yet, but I think it will be a great way to keep all that grime build up at bay.
I'd give it 3.5 score but it's not possible to select half a star. This is my first steam mop so wasn't sure what to expect. I was so used to clean with water, soap and disinfectant, so it felt a bit strange at first. I'd say the steam seem to clean the floor and surfaces pretty good. You expect the temperature will leave them disinfected too. I bought it mainly to clean the kitchen grout which was quite stained after a couple of years. It takes some effort but it seems that eventually it does the job. I won't do the whole kitchen in one shot but clean a section every cleaning cycle. Posted pics before and after one cleaning cycle. Lighting was different when took the pictures but you can see the difference on contrast between the tile and grout. Lighting was different when took the pictures but you can see the difference on contrast between the tile and grout. Pros: - Seems to clean well - Appears to be very good built - The surface tool is nice to clean counter tops - Nice set of additional tools - Good to be able to clean walls and vertical surfaces - Long cord (good/not so good - see cons below) Cons: - It is too heavy so for longer periods of cleaning your arm/hands get really tired. - Not the most comfortable handle to manage - For the same reason, having to keep the trigger pushed to get steam out is very inconvenient. After a while you can just hold it anymore - The grout tool wears off to quick - Long cord. There's no place to store the cord so you need one hand on the handle/trigger and the other to hold the cord. It is uncomfortable.
I have been wanting a steam mop for a while now. I watched multiple online reviews and this model was very highly rated. I had very high hopes for this unit and hoped that it was worth the wait (it took 2 weeks to arrive). The unit I received appeared to be used (scratches quite apparent on the hand held unit) but during COID-19 I'm stuck at home with very little to do other than declutter and clean, so I decided to keep the unit anyway. It doesn't heat up / produce as much steam as much as I would like (or from what I have seen the unit capable achieving online). First I tackled the minor grease build up on my stove using the small scraper unit. I wasn't able to cut through the grease and ended up scrubbing it by hand the old fashioned way. First I tackled the minor grease build up on my stove using the small scraper unit. I wasn't able to cut through the grease and ended up scrubbing it by hand the old fashioned way. Next I tackled the bathroom sink and tub/shower. Sadly again, the steam couldn't cut through build up of soap scum (not thick soap scum-as I had cleaned the bathroom the week before). That being said, it did a fine job on my tiled floor (kitchen and bath). When the weather gets warmer, I'm going to try it out on the barbeque. Fingers crossed it's going to do a good job. There are a multitude of reviewers advising not to use steam on hardwood floors while others believe that there is no reason not to use steam on hardwood floors. My hardwood is in need of being resealed so I will not be using the steamer on the my hardwood. The unit itself is light and fairly easy to handle however I may consider a cordless unit in the future. Despite the steam not blasting away at grease and soap scum as well as I would like, I do like the fact that I can use steam rather than chemicals to clean around the house.
This rating is for floor cleaning only. I used the floor mop scrubber in my kitchen and small dining area and it did super. I haven't used any of the hand tools. I didn't rate it 5 stars because there is no trigger lock for continuous steam. My hand got tired from pressing the trigger as I cleaned. A trigger lock would be a nice feature. Also, it can be a bit difficult moving it around because of the weight of the long cord, not the device itself. It may be too heavy for some users.
I am honestly shocked with any bad reviews on this product. I have had mine for about a year now and I still love it. I feel like it is a quality product that is going to last through the years. However, if it broke, I would buy this same one again. I use it on tile..and linoleum with no issue. I wet the pad in hot water before I start steaming my floors to give it a little jump start and also sprinkle essential oils on the pad. Also great for cleaning grimy outdoor windows (and indoors!), the steam really loosens up the dirt. I have a glass top stove and use this to get that thing nice n shiny. No amount of scrubbing or products could get that burnt stuff off the stovetop in five years (rental, moved in to it like that) compared to what this did the first time I ... MoreI am honestly shocked with any bad reviews on this product. I use it to steam my wrinkly clothes. One thing I will say is that I wish there were bigger scrubbing attachments available. I would love an attachment for scrubbing my bathtub and one the right size to clean my toilet bowl on the underside where there is stubborn grime (obviously not to submerge in the water lol). A wider flat bristle brush would be really awesome too. I do love the little scrubbing attachments, but the are too small for some jobs, which makes it too time consuming.
Maybe I'm let down b/c this is the first one of this body I have purchased & it was a surprise to me, physically. However, besides the fact I've a hard time maneuvering it I find the steam output weak when I remove the wand to for example steam clean bathtub wall tiles. Also, the icons for steam are not explained. I do not know the difference and either one I use there is an annoying clicking sound. I feel duped and like I wasted money. Packing up this type of product to return it us a burden for me. I often find myself shopping for a replacement. Lastly, this style is not a benefit to go under furniture it's not that slender AND again the top heavy portion makes it challenging to go that low for more than a moment because it is too heavy. Oddly it is easier for me ... MoreMaybe I'm let down b/c this is the first one of this body I have purchased & it was a surprise to me, physically.
