This little carpet spot cleaner is just everything I needed. Good solid construction and a long lead. Lightweight enough to grab when needed but with enough water tank to do a decent amount of cleaning. I have not used the cleaning product yet - just water. Lots of messy muddy patches from animals and grandchildren have been cleaned up easily. Purchase from Heathcotes was very smooth. Quick inexpensive delivery. I would definitely look there first before buying any other appliance online.

Does the job - very happy

Happy with this purchase. Cleaned our outdoor upholstery well.. the before and after was clearly evident leaving a fresh and clean smell. Didnt take too long to dry as most of the moisture is sucked back out of the cushions by the machine. Also bought the pre treatment spray for the more stubborn stains from dog paws.. and overall the chairs look so much better almost as good as new! Have not yet tried on our carpet or rugs but glad I bought it. Will be good for spot stain cleaning. Small compact size. Easy to use, rinse, and store alway.

Good but could be better

The product is quite simple, hot water in one side that provides a solution of water and soap to spray the surface. The suction head then removes the water and deposits into the opposite side tank. It works as advertised. Where it could be better is this - a heating element in the clean water side with a variable heat control switch. So that when cleaning you can get the water temperature up to say 80-90 Celsius which would be much more effective at dealing with stains. The spray head could be a little better designed with the way it sprays the water between a heavy spray to a mist. The suction head and brush could also be better. Just with some simple repositioning. The motors suction is not bad. Great little cleaning Unit

This is a great cleaning unit. It does what it says it dies - spot cleans ! Its great for spot stains on lounge pillows and fabrics and on carpets as well. Its not designed to do large tracks of carpets ( you could but in reality it would take you days at a time) I loved that it doesnt over French the fabrics and it vacuums the liquid back out of the fabrics beautifully . I found that it uses the cleaning liquid sparingly which is a great help meaning your not constantly topping up the water chamber all the time. I cll lol earned a 6 seater couch base pillows and fabrics all in one go. Very very impressive. Great price to pay for a spot stain remover psworks a miracle on car seats and floors .

Meh, and it broke after two years

I was pretty underwhelmed with this machine - it wasn't terrible, but not amazing either. It's not at all powerful, it would take a lot of elbow grease and time to really get a stain out. It was also frustrating to use - the hose is way too rigid/un-flexible and nowhere near long enough. It made it very difficult to manoeuvre. Then water/detergent just stopped coming out of the nozzle and we haven't been able to fix it. I'm pretty annoyed given it's less than two years old and it wasn't particularly cheap. It also looks and feels pretty cheaply made - the entire machine is brittle plastic.

Puppy Accidents

So I brought this because I got a puppy a few months ago and he decided to pee on all of my carpets and my favourite rugs. Hired a professional to come clean the carpets and I found the smell still lingered. Invested in the SpotClean and really put it through its paces on dried in pee stains and some unfortunate milk spills. It did a fantastic job of getting the stains out of my carpets, rugs and couch. If you're on the fence about this machine I can not recommend it enough. Over the moon to have a pee-free house again.

Really handy tool for small spills and perhaps to clean your smaller carpets

I bought this product with the aim of cleaning my fabric sofa which had a fair bit of water stains. Unfortunately, it seemed that the fabric was better off with the dry cleaners than using Bissell. However, the spot cleaner did work well on my carpets for a simple quick clean in smaller areas.Overall, I would say it is a pretty decent product for the price but with fabrics, it really is a hit and miss. Worked well with my outdoor sofa but not the indoor sofa. Will use it for spot cleaning for my carpets though (not suitable for a large area but smaller ones)

Worked great for less than 2 years

I bought this less than two years ago. It worked great to clean up spills from kids, a very handy machine to have at home. However, closing to two years, the water just stopped spraying. It might be the pump that needs replacement as the water still flows if the unit is placed higher than the hose. I read reviews and found out that this is a common problem with this spot cleaner. With the amount you pay and it will only work for two years, not happy. I’m not able to repair it under warranty as I no longer have proof of purchase. I’m aware that there is pump replacement online worth $80 but not sure if I should do this every two years, surely there is a fault in the design.

only 3min use then water leaks.

I have purchased this on July and left it in the storage and forgot about it for a while then I just opened the new box and used for only 3min and water leaks from bottom and it didn't stop until water tank is empty even I turned off the machine. Also this is very noisy more than normal vacuum cleaner. I just wanted to refund but the goodguys not allowed to refund after 30days of purchased even if the product is faulty. Do not recommend this product. water leaks, loud, when it is faulty, they are just repairing under warranty.

very easy to use

Bought this spot cleaner as in my new house have carpets in the bedroom. I have dogs and a cat . And time to time have a bit of accident. Buying this cleaner was much cheaper option than replace carpet. Light machine easy to use do clean and suck back dirty water from carpet very well. I wish they tell me at the shop that shampo is a small sample only in the box. What i used already I have to go back I 45 minutes drive from the store to buy a shampo specificly to animal stain. Will try to clean my matrace as well, once i get more cleaning product to the machine. Can clean your whole room by section , but you have to be on your knee. I did mot wanted a big bulky carpet cleaning machine , this is light not take up much place and fo a job well. Yes i recomend this product.
