I have cut two types of different hedge and it had no problem with each. Make sure you read the guide and don't over work it in thick areas. Take your time and be careful not to cut the power cord.

To the person who says the guard doesn't stay on, you really have to look at pictures A and B to see that apart from fitting the guard, you have to push down to slot the bottom right and left edges into the slots too, THEN use the screw driver to push the screw in. I hope this makes it stay in for everyone concerned!

Did lots of research before buying this as didn't want to spend a fortune. It does the job well and it's not too heavy which is a bonus. The only small issue is that the guard doesn't seem to stay on but someone else commented on this before I bought it so it wasn't a surprise. Nice buy and would recommend.
I bought this hedge trimmer recently. I was looking for a lighter corded modal to replace a much heavier trimmer of a different make. This is light in weight and ideal for me to trim my shrubs and small hedges. I was delighted to buy this at a reduced price.
I bought this during level 4 lockdown. As a nearing eighties pensioner I found it very easy to use on smaller shrubs around the house. Thoroughly recommended.
