I have used the log splitter for 6 years without any problem. I split the hardest of wood for house stove and open fire namely box gum and it has no problem at all.The electric start is fantastic for an older man like myself BUT-I can't find anyone who sells a replacement battery . It has to be the exact size because the machine has a built in steel holding cage-and a solid steel strap to secure it-presumably to firmly because of the significant vibration when it runs at full power.
