I really like this shot because it dispenses powder really well. I feel like it leaves my hands with the perfect amount of chalk - not so little that I have to squeeze multiple times but not so much that I have to clap/shake some off.

I love this product because it's so much more convenient and gives your hands a thin but effective layer of chalk all over. The refill opening though does leak chalk out even when closed all the way which after a week of intense usage leaves you with more chalk in the bag than in the shot.
It's chalk, it's awesome, it's in a convenient ball. Also it's probable a psychological crutch but who cares? Seems to make me climb better regardless.
I'll keep buying these. I'm quite new to climbing, so my experience has been in the gym only. These are much neater than loose chalk, as someone who's very reactive to dust flying around. I don't need to pull it out of the bag to use it either, just reach in and give it a squeeze with each hand seems to be good enough.
Its good chalk. Probably mostly just makes me feel better about my climbing. The ball keeps my chalk less messy inside my chalk bag. The ball is really easy to use, the chalk feels really smooth. I really haven’t had any issues with it but I’m not fussy about chalk. It is harder to mark loose rocks when climbing outdoor as you do have to squeeze the chalk out of the ball. This chalk ball is definitely suited for gym use, if climbing outside just buy loose.
Not all are created equal. Some prefer to make sure their hands are absolutely covered in thick chalk. Some don’t, I find this to have a moderate release and is easily refillable. Also already comes with black diamonds chalk which I also like. Good price and altitude’s delivery is always quick.
I bought this about a month ago and i’ve gone rock climbing almost every day with it and it works amazingly! Way better chalk than my previous! Long lasting as well!
