They're better than nothing, but only marginally. The quick locks don't hold the poles in place if you put any kind of weight on them. I lost count of how many times I had to re-adjust them on the trail (fairly steep, granted).

Generally very good it has a bit more flex than the cork alpine poles. This may be because the poles are bit thinner.So far so good.I like the Allen screw built into one pole
Solid pair of trekking poles. The quick locks are super solid but need to be pretty tight to withstand a lot of weight. I’m 6’3” 220 and I bared down on these once I had them adjusted and they didn’t budge.
