I bought this to use in the gym and some smaller climbs in the Southern Utah area and it has been great so far! No tugging or pinching in awkward spots. It also works for men. My husband had to borrow it at one point and he had no complaints!

Great harness, but these run small and don't match to pants sizing. Recommend to try in advance if you can to confirm you size.
I wore out my first BD harness after five years and got this one a few months ago. I was nervous that the stretchy thigh/leg loops wouldn't be adjustable enough. This harness is really comfortable! I don't even notice I'm wearing it, it's so light. The leg loops have been totally fine, they stay up and aren't too tight. Doesn't rub at all if you need to wear it while walking for a while. It doesn't have an actual gear loop in the back but you can hang a biner with a chalk bag on the flat "loop" that is there.
I am a man climbing in a women's harness with no regrets. Light, comfortable, compact. The thin webbing at the waist and leg loops most would assume that the harness would be for hard redpoint burns only. This is untrue. After taking a number of whips in this harness and hang dogging on the proj I was still comfortable. Also the low profile, non adjustable leg loops offers a wonderful low profile option that wont hamper any movement.
I love the weight and the material of the harness. I ordered the same size I wear in other Black Diamond harnesses. Unfortunately the leg loops aren’t adjustable and are tight on me so I’m concerned they’ll be uncomfortable. I don’t have particularly large legs and can’t recall adjusting previous harnesses so I didn’t think about it when ordering. Disappointing because it has a lot of other great qualities like the infinity loop.
Most comfortable harness I have ever worn. Have used for both indoor and outdoor climbing and works great for both.
I had the BD Solution before and the Zone was marketed as the next step up for sport climbing. Unfortunately it was really uncomfortable and the gear loops were too small. The leg bands really dig in when you put any weight on them. I get that gear loops can be smaller for sport climbing but these went a little too far in my opinion. Unfortunately you can’t return climbing gear here so keep that in mind!
Comfortable harness for sport climbing and for hanging in. Decent for those who have a long rise. I like BD's molded plastic gear loops (easy to clip and remove from!) but my big complaint with the Zone is they are way too small! It's fine if you're just in the gym or projecting a single pitch sport route and not placing or cleaning draws, but it would still be nice to have larger gear loops. Even on a single pitch sport route, I like being able to reach my draws more easily, which means more of them at my sides rather than at my back. This is not a good all around harness, and very sport specific.
