Its definitely not my cat's first choice of wet cat food. She loves the blackhawk dry food more.However, it makes her poo less smelly and doesn't upset her stomach like other brands have. And since she's only 12 months, a sachet lasts more than one day. I just wish they had a few more flavour and amount (such as 24 sachets) options

Pet Circle gave me a box of 12 to try for free as I always get the Black Hawk grain free dry food for my cats. So glad I didn't pay for it, my 2 cats wouldn't touch it, even after removing dry food and allowing them nothing else for a whole day. Not sure why, but they would rather go without than eat this food, wouldn't even lick the gravy. Back to Fancy Feast for them.

I have a very picky cat that suddenly went off their raw diet, so wanted to make sure they were getting a good quality wet food. Tried all of the ziwipeak varieties (unsuccessfully) but they love this and will gobble it up as it's poured on the plate.
Our male Devon Rex loves all Black Hawk pouches. He has a very sensitive stomach and has a tendency to be sick after even slight over eating or anything which upsets his tummy. But he has not once had any problem with Black Hawk.
Ollie, my Australian Mist and Anie, my Bengal both love BlackHawk Chicken with Beef and Lamb. Ollie is a little pig at meal time and usually ends by throwing up his meal. I bought a dog maze feeding bowl to slow his eating but he still threw up. My cats had always been fed BlackHawk Grain Free dry food so it was suggested that I try them on the BlacHawk Grain Free wet food which had just come on the market. It has worked a treat. Product costs more than I was paying for other wet cat food but I feel it’s well worth it. Happy to recommend .
At the end of the day, the cat's vote is all that matters. Black Hawk is a very conscientious, hard working Aussie company seeking to make excellent quality products.Unfortunately, on this occasion, the cat thought this was the boiled Brussells Sprout of the cat food industry.It comes at a peak price - this is as expensive as any commercial food I buy. And the delivery was ultra-slow - taking 10 days to arrive. so everyone in my house has been disappointed. Perhaps your pet will be happier
Black Hawk was a new brand I was trying for the first time, unfortunately my cats did not like it and would not eat it.. Passed to a friend who also has cats.
My kittens love the Chicken Peas and Broth. The liquid is gulped up first and fast so must be tasty.
Both kittens initially really enjoyed this. Chosen specifically due to great, wholesome ingredients. But over time, we've noticed they havent been finishing it when it's on its own.
