I have fed this to my puppies (Inc show pups) for years. It is absolutely fantastic. Their coats shine and their overall health is fantastic. Even my recent fussy eater loves it.All black hawk foods makes my animals poops smell a lot less than other foods.Pet circle have great prices and fast shipping definitely makes it easier to buy large amounts of food.

As a first time buyer of this brand, this has been perfect for my pup. Her stools are now solid and she seems to love the flavour......better than the consistent chicken and rice flavours all the time for puppies.However, the packaging is hard to get into. You can't just pull it apart and re-seal. It says cut with stanley knife, you can't do this without cutting the packaging, therefore, having the re-sealer on the top of the bag is pointless. I've read it is better to keep the kibble in their bags to preserve the natural oils in the food. My whole intention was to buy an air tight container to place the whole bag into, I had to do that earlier than planned... they are hard to come buy or expensive for the size of a 20 kg bag..... end up finding a "Handy Storage ... MoreAs a first time buyer of this brand, this has been perfect for my pup. Our 6 month old Golden Retriever has never finished his breakfast or dinner, often leaving his bowl full all day. Now that we have switched to BlackHawk he finishes it all in one sitting. its just the best!
I purchased the 20kg bag (I know , crazy !) But my 7 month old French Mastiff puppy was not having it ! I've tried her on the chicken one, she disliked that a lot , then this lamb one and she just refuses to eat it . So I'm at a loss , can't really say it's terrible however if you have a fussy pupper, like mine, maybe try a smaller bag first.
we have tried alot of different brand foods and this is the only one that provides perfect consistency with his poo. we now mix half raw half lamb and rice for the perfect mix
