I've been feeding my lab/staffy/kelpie cross rescue this food and the BH puppy chicken and rice. He's 17m old now and he's been getting it since he's been 2m old, when we first got him. It's a huge step up from supercoat.. He looks lean and muscly, is very healthy, has a wonderfully shiny coat and always gets comments when walking him around the markets etc. I am very happy with the food although lately, I've noticed he's been farting a bit more lately and seems a bit bored with the food. I have recently switched to another brand just to give him some variety, but highly recommend BH. I am very happy with my puppy's growth on BH, he's a 40kg dog now!

I bought this for our 3 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback. He seems to be loving it and his bowel movements seem more 'normal' than on cheaper brands (which made him go about 8 times a day, runny ones)! I'm happy that this product does not contain sorghum or other nasty fillers and has a high meat content. The only problem is that the packet is a little tricky in working out the portion sizes. It seems to assume you're only feeding them once a day (not true for puppies), so I've had to 'guestimate' a little and split up the total across the day. It would be good if the packet said 'total daily intake' and then advise owners to split this up into 2-3 meals depending what the puppy is used to.
Ive started my pup on this since getting her a week ago. Ive been slowly introducing this to her dinner with what the breeder was feeding her. No upset tummy and seems like great quality. She loves them as treats too so must be yummy :)
I bought the 20kg bag before i picked my puppy up to be ready for him, i'm not sure if it's off or what, but my puppy won't eat this no matter what i do. I tried putting a little warm water in it, mixing it with other food etc, i've been persisting for 2 weeks now. there's just no way. I've got no idea with what to do with all this food, plus a waste of $100. It's a small Poochon puppy. I'd give this a miss.
As per my email I sent a week or so back Im not happy with the product but that is definitely no reflection on Petpost let me make that clear. It is an issue from the manufacturers end and seeing as though they have not replied to my email I will no longer be buying their products and will now be looking at other brands. The sealing device on the bag is inoperable so now I have 20kg being exposed to the air which will shorten its shelf life no doubt
I tried expensive grain free foods for my beagle puppy, he always has running stool, it makes my very frustrated. Then I changed to black hawk lamb with rice, my puppy really loves it and no more loose bowels. It is great! I will continue purchasing it.
