We have been feeding our large Rhodesian Ridgeback this brand as recommended by the breeder. He is nearly 5 years old and is constantly being told by passers by hiw handsome he is. We believe his coat and general strength is due to Black Hawk food.

We were recommended this brand by the experienced pet shop staff, who explained that for dogs bread and living in Australia it is better to use the dog food made in Australia from the local ingredients. This brand does that. Apparently most other brands add ingredients which are not local, not good for your dog. So we started to use this kibble and our dog is very happy with it.

I have been feeding my dogs Blackhawk for a number of years. Coats are shinier, stools are firm and now only a few times a day. Overall great health. It is worth the money when you know it makes your dogs happy and healthy. They love it - Great Dane x Mastiffs. Pet Circle get it delivered to us fast. Thanks PC!

The box came all crumpled and damaged with holes at the sides. It looked like it has been thrown about.Although the product packing is intact, when opened I could see most of the kibbles were crushed probably due to the impact. I think this is expected considering the horrible condition of the packing box. Pet Circle should make a sturdier packing for the 20kg dog food.
I believe black hawk is now being made in China. They've obviously have changed the recipe. My German shepherd use to love this but refused to eat it. The Suze of the biscuit is smaller also. I will not order again.
My greyhound devours it like no tomorrow!,!!!!!! My two little elderly girls, 15 & 16 ,also hoover wotever amount I offer them! The ingredients are above the level of other brands,as nutrition is of the essence!!!All flavours that Ive ordered ( dependant on price) have been readily accepted by all my dogs, & the smell of the biscuits is most acceptable!!
I've been feeding my lab/staffy/kelpie cross rescue this food and the BH puppy chicken and rice.He's 17m old now and he's been getting it since he's been 2m old, when we first got him. It's a huge step up from supercoat..He looks lean and muscly, is very healthy, has a wonderfully shiny coat and always gets comments when walking him around the markets etc.I am very happy with the food although lately, I've noticed he's been farting a bit more lately and seems a bit bored with the food.I have recently switched to another brand just to give him some variety, but highly recommend BH.I am very happy with my puppy's growth on BH, he's a 40kg dog now!
We had our dog on this brand for the 2.5 years we have had her but after 1 too many bad batches recently and a vet visit we made the switch to another brand and it's fixed her tummy issues and her coat is so much softer.The last bag we purchased we needed to throw out with only half the kibble used due to persistent tummy upsets, green smelly soft stools and she was super itchy. I contacted Black Hawk on a few occasions to find out whether ingredients/proportions changed or even just to notify them in case something was wrong with the batch but I never get a response.It's a shame because we were loyal to Black Hawk and it was great food and a great price but for our girl it just started making her so unwell.
Sam has been on Black Hawk ever since he was a 3 month old puppy (Version) now 27 months old still enjoying the food with 160 grams of gravy beef and 1 &3/ cup of an evening 3/4 cup and can sardines of a morning we also have our small Jack Russell X Mini Foxie enjoys this as well since yhe puppy version and now on to the adult version can not reccomend this product enough and love the varieties available but with the turn over of the Black Hawk product would love to see the price drop around 12% would be much appreciated buy all but strongly reccomend this producy #BLACKHAWKRegardsBruceSam 50 Kilo SheaprdTamale 7 kilo Jack Russell X Foxy
We have ordered Lamb and Rice for my dog Tilly and she has had no problems with this food. She appears to really enjoy it. Her coat is shiny and she is in very good health. I like that is a high quality Australian made product that is also great value.
