All the treats I've bought from Blackdog have been great quality. I was disappointed that the 1kg liver was large chunks rather than the same product as the smaller pack since I planned to use them for training and they're not really suitable for breaking up easily. Still a great product but would be useful to have that information in the description. Both dogs still go nuts for the big chunks and I save them for bigger rewards.

These liver treats are the best brand I have found. I break them up into bite sized pieces to put in our dog's 'cookie jar'. These are not too thick and snap into smaller pieces easily along the gridline marks pressed into them. I have tried other brands (too thick and hard to break or not dried enough), but keep coming back to BlackDog, Also, the price is much better than some other brands.

Absolutely love these treats. I find it hard to find treats that come in large bags, so finding these were a great surprise. They are high quality and my labs absolutely love them. The bag itself is seal-able, to ensure freshness for a long period of time. They snap easily to break into small pieces for your dog and work amazing as high-reward treats for any kind of training.

The dried beef liver is used for positive reinforcement when training. Our puppy will do almost anything to receive the liver treat. Breaking the thick cuts to a suitable size requires a pair of pliers which is no big hindrance. Great for dental health too!
I have purchased this product for several years and had always found it to be a quality product. The last 3 1kg packets I have purchased contain liver pieces that are thin, soft and sticky. If this inconsistent quality is present in my next purchase I shall be switching brands.
I opened a brand new pack of these liver treats, put my hand in and they were all squishy and gross. Not at all dry and crispy as you’d expect. I’ve had many brands before, never had this happen. I’ll never buy a black dog branded food product again!
I was discussed reaching into a fresh pack of these to feel them squish between my fingers! Supposed to be dry and crispy! Never seen this in a liver treat before!! So gross. Straight in the bin! I’ll never buy black dog branded anything ever again. Avoid this brand!!
My 2 puppies love these treats. I use them broken into small pieces and hide them in their snuggling blankets. They are an absolute must for any dogs who want a healthy treat, just watching my 2 bouncing when I shake the jar I store them in gives my pleasure knowing that they are getting a treat they love.
These are not dry! They’re soft and moist. I’ve bought a few different brands of liver treats over the years and have never seen any that are squishy and wet/not dry and crispy.
Theyre a little more on the moist side than Id prefer, like the ones in Woolies, as I like to snap off small pieces for training. however theyre a great price & the staffy loves them
