It would be wonderful if we could get this with just a single display, with the aforementioned button to keep on a desk in an edit suite. Dual monitor takes up too much room.

Great monitor for price point, only two issues I have with it are the viewing angle, go slightly off dead on and the picture looks very grainy. The other issue is having to have the unit connected to a computer to switch between scopes. Fine in the studio, but a pain on location. BMD, how about a remote toggle for it?
Great displays, rack mountable and easy to rout signal through the SDI connections.
The scopes, although accurate and plenty detailed, are the absolute simplest version and I wish they had the same display options as within Resolve (also a Blackmagic product). A center dot for the vectorscope as well as vector lines + a skin tone reference line would increase usability a ton. The ability to colorize anything would be an amazing option as well -- especially knowing these are full color monitors.
I'm sure the advertised features are good, but I don't think I'll get an opportunity to test them. The issue with this unit is the viewing angle is dreadfully narrow. Side-to-side viewing is fine, and what you might expect from a unit like this, but the up-and-down viewing angle is so narrow, that you cannot make out an image when this is rackmounted. If you are using it on a rack where your eyes will always be aligned vertically with this unit, you might be okay, but if you are ever slightly above or below the unit, you won't be able to make out the image.
This is a terrific solution. You get 4K monitors and scopes in a lightweight package. Not only can you monitor up to 4K, but you can use the scopes to ensure you're recording proper signals. You need a Mac or PC to set up the monitors, but once you do that the monitors will start up in that config without the computer. If you do need to change the config during a shoot or edit/grading session, you'll need the computer. Setting the config is easy and intuitive. You connect the monitor to the computer by either USB or CAT5. I've tried both ways and they work identically. This is another terrific Blackmagic product.
I found this product very easy to use.It allows you to monitor your SDI signals chroma and luminance values in an easy to read form making adjustments to your signal simply easy to look at for long periods of time.In the post production world this is a good product for the price.If you are in the production world were you use a camera this product will not meet your needs. The vectorscope lacks the 2X variable gain control necessary to adjust the input gain of the signal when you use a standard 2X reflective color chart to balance the color output of your camera. There is no way to get the signal to meet the box. Since there is no reference video signal input they dont have a 0 phase line showing on the signal. Great feature set. This isn't your grandfather's WFM90. A computer is a necessary accessory if you want to see anything other than video. The software package for windows is dated 2021, so not much development has occured here, but lots of windows updates have. On a fourth try installing the setup software on a win7 machine the app loaded. For use at a transmitter site. I do miss the days of even a simple membrane buttons to nav around and do stuff. Would appreciate a linux setup utility which as of this writing was not on the website. Good quality screen.
