Was recommended either this or Elevit by my OB. Despite the fact that you need to take 2 of these daily, i bought these half price and it works out way cheaper than Elevit! They are really pleasant-tasting, as other have said. A slight scent/vanilla taste, which means you don't get a gross taste when swallowing. Like most pregnancy supps, dont think it has choline, but there are easy dietary sources of choline available (i eat lots of eggs, so that covers em). I don't usually write reviews, but i purchase these based of reviews on the chemist warehouse website, so thought my review might also help others!

I prefer this over Elevit. It does not make me sick and it smells nicer, makes me think of chocolates. I am about to finish my 2nd big bottle and will purchase more even after bub is born. It's just good to know that I still get all the supplement I need during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

I worked fulltime right up to 38 weeks and have 4 older kids so the extra support was needed. This is the first pregnancy I used Blackmores right through out. No side effects for me either unlike the other well known supplement.

I feel so good since having them! Started whole being pregnant early on and still taking them with bubs being 7 months now. Will take them as long as I'm breastfeeding because of all the benefits for her and I.Highly recommended, especially to stock up whilst on special.
I have taken Elevit in the past, but thought I’d try this product as it is cheaper and came recommended by my GP. The only drawback is that the dosage is two tablets per day - whereas Elevit is only one tablet per day.Other than that, the ingredients for each product, incl. amounts per dosage, are pretty similar to each other.
These are the first preg vitamins I've tried, based on the other reviews I've seen. They're easy to take and don't seem to have any side effects or after taste so I can't complain! They are expensive, but you can generally get them on "offer" so it's worth waiting til then if you can. I would say don't buy too many packets in advanced/ stock up as the packet I was sent only have 4 months before the expiry date (which is fine for me as I will use them in the 3 months, but may have been an issue if I'd bought any more at the same time)
The only prenatal vitamin that doesn’t give you constipation. The iron in it is gentle on the stomach so it also doesn’t give you that horrible burning & sick feeling if you take without food! Much better than Elevit! The iron in Elevit made me feel nauseated and constipated which is the last thing you need if TTC or pregnant or breastfeeding!!!
We purchased this product after earlier troubles whilst using another brand. What people don't tell you is how important the fish oil is in this product. The other big named pregnancy tablet doesn't contain it. Trust me it's vital. I have full trust and faith in blackmores. All our supps are blackmores and we are going for baby 2 soon and this product is without a doubt our goto.
I changed to these pregnancy vitamins on the recommendation of a 'nutrician during pregnancy' class I attended. The dietitian pointed out that 2 tablets a day, taken morning & night allowed a continuous and more even intake of vitamins over the 24 hours of the day (as opposed to one big dose of vitamins which is difficult for your body to absorb).They are a premium product that contains everything that you need during pregnancy... So they can be a little pricey. However, the regular cost at chemist warehouse is less than many chemists on sale - so definitely worth shopping around for. 1 bottle lasts about 3 months.
This is the xyz times I bought this for my sister while she was pregnant (from baby no 1-3) and currently she's breast-feeding baby #3. She likes this particular product because it works wonder.
