This is my second Blackvue dashcam, installed in ute with canopy. Fantastic package and probably one of the best parking dashcams out there. No need for Power magic pro as voltage monitoring is built in for the X series when hardwired in.Re video quality, I did consider the 4K 900X, however it is worth considering that fast-moving number plates will be easier to see on the 750 vs the 900 thanks to the faster frame rate. So definitely something worth considering - the video quality isn't the only factor. Plus the video quality is quite decent anyway for the 750X.

But I mean what dash cams are? They all have some drawbacks. This ones really great. First time with a Black Vue and it's not disappointing. I hard wired mine in to get the parking mode. Took a bit of an effort to realise how I needed to but once I got it it's great. If you are going to hard wire you will need to get 2x fuse taps (I found them at Jaycar) as well as mini fuses. Get yourself a light tester as well or even better, a basic multi-meter as you need to find the right fuses to use.In regards to the camera, love the 60fps, that's what I really wanted. It does pickup more glare than my old camera (70 mai) so I bought the little lens you can get and it certainly reduced it, though makes it worse in the evening and it's a bit of a hassle to pull on and off if ...Ā MoreBut I mean what dash cams are? Love the side sensor for manual recordings although would be nice if it included 20 seconds before you pressed cause if I press then it's usually after something I want to see happened. Lot's of customization's. Recommend.

YouTube video was excellent, it really made install seem less like a mountain of a job and more like small hill.My biggest hang up was with Fuse Taps. There was instruction sheet detailing fuse orientation and this make difference of device working or not working. After trial and error and a 12 volt test light I got dashcam and car accessories working correctly. My instruction sheet was printed poorly and was all smeared. Ohh Well, I figured it out.So far camera is doing fine and will hopefully give long term test review later.

Do not buy. Absolute waste of money. Had fitted which took Halfords nearly 2 days to connect to WiFi. Then after a few days my stop start ignition stopped working, after checking with ford diagnostics was informed that the perimeter safety which is permanently on is draining my battery. So would have to purchase external battery. Yet Blackvue states there is no drainage on your battery, absolute rubbish. Also Blackvue do not advise that connection to cloud can only occur when you purchase another price of equipment 169.00.. this complete waste of money is being returned. š”š”š”š”
Bought this to replace an older version that has lasted almost almost 8 years but died! It's a must as a driving instructor as its used for peace of mind on the road and for teaching. Connectivity is simple and takes seconds, the quality of recording is awesome, so much easier to use and much clearer than my older version and worth it's weight in gold. Would definitely recommend, better than a lot of brands as there's no distracting screen on show all the time. It quietly does its job and is there when it's needed. Excellent purchase.
I kissed 600 bucks goodbye. Over heating and poor picture quality is what my money bought me. On extremely hot days I took the unit out of the car and carried it with me foregoing any parking security. I thought I was doing it and myself a favor but nooo. Now I'm back to purchasing the lesser of all evils in dash cams. Every dashcam on earth has 1 star reviews. Hell, my phone can do a better job than this unit. I use Drive Safe And Save with State Farm so using my phone as a dashcam is out of the question because it's viewed as phone usage while driving...Good grief why is this technology so difficult to get right? I threw enough money at it, didn't I?
I fit these to a lot of different males and models and BlackVue understands that not all cars work the same and especially if you own a European car I highly encourage you to go for the this.In this day and age with new cars becoming more filled with tech and extras the electrical components are becoming more sensitive or having issues arised with dash camsYou can rest easy with this as they designed the park mode with work it both GPS and ACC so it can be used for a lot of new cars where the accessories donāt immediately shut down for example most European cars however sometimes there is an issue for some car models which you would need to have the battery expansion as well but which is in a rare case but in saying that most other dash cams arnt able to go into ...Ā MoreI fit these to a lot of different males and models and BlackVue understands that not all cars work the same and especially if you own a European car I highly encourage you to go for the this.In this day and age with new cars becoming more filled with tech and extras the electrical components are becoming more sensitive or having issues arised with dash camsYou can rest easy with this as they designed the park mode with work it both GPS and ACC so it can be used for a lot of new cars where the accessories donāt immediately shut down for example most European cars however sometimes there is an issue for some car models which you would need to have the battery expansion as well but which is in a rare case but in saying that most other dash cams arnt able to go into park mode with multiple functions and can only do into park mode via accessoriesAs my personal experience with this dash cam and installing other brandsThe BlackVue app is by far one of the best and easy to use app as for other apps for other brands I cannot say the same as finding footages is very difficult we as the BlackVue app was a lot easier to findAnd the clarity of the footage and lens itās very clear even though itās other brands say they hav 1080p recording when I compared my cheaper 1080p dash cam to the BlackVue750 thatās also 1080p the clarity and the footage is a lot clearer and for night time recording
Not impressed with the video quality, even in clear daylight. The rear cam can't see at night in parking mode. The interior has good infrared at night, but video is very grainy. The field of view is significantly less than in many other dash cam models. Instead of front and cabin cam on same unit, they are two separate cameras, which adds wires and takes up space on your windshield (in many states -- illegal). I think the cabin cam should be on a 360 rotatable mount. You can aim it higher or lower, but not turn it toward you more (as you might like to do in the case of a cop or road-rage driver coming to your window). I like that they use tape rather than suction mount. It was very easy to run the wires and hide behind trim (took 10 minutes). I've had no issues with the companion app for viewing. I can use the app to view the camera live (to set it up), to change the settings, and to view the recorded files -- but only when it's connected to my home wifi. I can't figure out how to access the files beyond that. But if you want to view using the cloud service, you'll have to pay for a special device (costly), a SIM card, and monthly data service.
The blackVue 750s was a stellar dash cam, now discontinued. They have 2 replacements, the dr750x and the dr750x plus LTE version. The former will not connect to the cloud unless you have the module. For this camera and spec this is a must and the main point of having a blackvue camera. If you donāt want to use the cloud feature there are better brands that are cheaper. The DR750s should not have been discontinued.
The Blackvue DR 750X-2CH Plus Was easier to install than I expected. The camera has more options than I will ever need. Video Quality is great and the App feature was simple to master. The Windows playback download for my laptop is very easy to work with as well. Such a well rounded unit in all areas. I actually give it a4.75 Star rating as I do believe there is a flaw in the unit but it has not been a problem yet and I think it can be improved up. The flaw is small plastic cover that snaps over SD card area. This is the only flaw so far and I really am digging deep to find 1.
