I've been using this one for years for hiking, snowboarding and surfing to protect my lips from the sun. Does have chemicals that are bad for your body though, that are not recommended for regular sunscreen. But I just learned that recently. I'm gonna phase out the many tubes I have of this and try something that has high sunscreen and healthier. But might come back to this since the smell, taste and protection have always worked great for me on this one. I'm gonna try Badgers sunscreen lip balm next. Healthier ingredients.

If I could only have three things on a deserted island, THIS would be one of them, for sure! I’ve been using Blistex products religiously for at least 30 years, maybe longer. And I use it every. single. day. not just during cold weather. I usually use another Blistex product, the DCT in the little peach pot with the screw-top lid, and it’s amazing. However, I’ve stopped carrying a purse recently for reasons and needed something with a little different profile. This tube fits in my pocket much better than the little peach pot, especially in my jeans that only have back pockets. As for how it works? Fantastic! It keeps my lips hydrated all day. (nobody likes the word ‘moist’ LOL!) The first thing I look for with lip balms is the scent. This lip balm has a very soft smell, it smells great, not sure what it smells like exactly but it smells good. This balm is not tinted, so if you are looking for a tinted lip balm this is not for you. Lips are as important as your face to protect. So having a balm with high SPF like this one is great. This benefited me in many ways one it makes me confident that my lips is protected. and second it has a great moisture for dry lips. I love the package and the size is great to carry around in your small purse. I like the quality of these balms that this company offers. However, I hope the fate of this package wont end up like my other one where the extender broke and I cant get more balm out of the bottle.
