It's moisturizing it does it cake up and it's not wacky like other brands of lip balms The one I have is medicated I really do like it. It doesn't have any scent. It's just kind of refreshing when you put it on. It is made with avocado oil and Shea butter so it's very hydrating for your lips. You can buy Blistex in a single tube or in money, saving packages at your local CVS or any drugstore. Hope this review helps when you're looking for a good lip balm.

While I'd been aware of the Blistex brand for years, I only JUST tried it and am now hooked! 3+mos. ago my lips started becoming SEVERELY dry, cracked and stinging. My usual Carmex wasn't cutting it anymore, for some reason. A Google search suggested using Blistex, I smeared on and within 2 days I FELT and saw a difference! Dry lip flakes have rubbed off and I'm enjoying smiling again. Being in retail, this was affecting me, having to cover my mouth a bit, watching for dry flakes hanging off lip edge. I love Blistex and have long wished that it came like this versus the little pots. I hate sticking my finger in that pot. I am not always able to wash my hands beforehand if I am driving or out and about - Yuck, germs - and I am stuck with a greasy index finger afterwards. Sigh.This is much more sanitary and convenient. Not sure why original formulation isn't available in this form but cherry is.This version the lip ointment is white instead of clear / translucent, so you wind up with zombie lips after application.Awful. Awful. Awful.
I have been using this for over 25 years. I love the way it calms the soreness of cracked, dry lips. I keep 1 by my chair, 1 in my pants pocket, and 1 on top of my medicine cabinet. Right after I brush my teeth I apply it to my lips and reapply as needed throughout the day. This protects my lips and stop them from cracking or bleeding. I have tried many balms, none of them worked, it was a huge waste of my money to buy balms. I buy the 2 packs 2 or 3 at a time. I highly recommend this product for anyone who suffers from dry, cracked, painful lips.
