About a month ago I was diagnosed with Rosacea. My dermatologist asked me if I used sunscreen on my face daily and I told him no. I also informed him even with sunscreen, I usually burn, no matter how high the SPF is rated. He recommended Blue Lizard sunscreen, stating it's expensive, but the best sunscreen he has ever used himself. I bought some and I allowed my step daughter to use it during marching band camp. She burns so easy and being outside in the hot sun for hours meant she had a sun burn coming regardless of the sunscreen she had put on. After the first day of usingthos sunscreen, she came home with no red, burnt skin. I was so impressed! Yes, this sunscreen is pricey, but it is worth the price for my stepdaughter and I not to burn.

Great product! This is my new fave! It had a very light soft scent and applied smoothly and absorbed completely into my sensitive skin. It was a great moisturizer as well! It kept me protected for at least the 2 full hours that I was in the sun! I was able to get a little color because I wanted to, so I chose not to reapply it, but I did not burn at all and I was in the full sun at the beach, so I know if I had, it would have kept me fully protected the entire time. I went swimming several times in the ocean and in the pool had no problem with it washing off. It continued to work just like I had just applied it. I definitely would recommend this sunscreen to everyone, especially if you have sensitive skin! I will be buying it again and again for sure!

Great product. I am allergic to the sun and heat. Stupid, I know but it's apparently a real thing. I also have melasma. All great things to have living in Texas, right? I have to wear sun product all the time. I also used this for my children. It droes clear, lasts for a good while, good for the skin. Smells good and has a minimal white cast. I've tried many mineral sunscreens that are too oily or the white cast is too much. This is very liquidy, so is more sheer. It does drip a small anount from the bottle so make sure you close it good. Not too much, but just be careful to seal it properly. However, it was very comfortable on and the white cast wasn't bad. It is dewy, but I like the way it made my skin glow.

I actually had heard of Blue Lizard sunscreen before trying this sample. I’ve always wanted to try it but it is a little more pricey and didn’t want to spend the money on something that didn’t work. I was so excited when I saw this sample and would finally be able to test it out. This is now my new favorite sunscreen!! I have very sensitive skin and have had a lot of issues with anything that touches it. Blue Lizard didn’t make my skin react at all! I would recommend this product to anyone. It keep me feeling comfortable and relieved while in the sun so I would enjoy the day! Love this product so much!!

I fell in love with the blue lizard sensitive skin mineral sunscreen lotion! I have acne prone sensitive skin, so I cannot wear chemical sunscreens without breaking out terribly. Even some mineral ones have been irritating, but not this one thankfully. Something that stood out to me was that it is SPF 50 and water resistant. The mineral sunscreen I was using previously was only SPF 32 and not water resistant as it would come off when I sweat. I am grateful for the high SPF and that it is water resistant for 80 minutes, that’s impressive. Plus no breakouts or white cast! Feels lightweight on the skin and provided me with plenty of protection. I’ve tried it layered it under my makeup and had no issues. Great product!

I only used Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen for one day of my vacation, and it came in at perfect timing because I going to be on the beach! It was great for my sensitive skin, I didn’t get any rashes, or feel burning sensations; however after going into the ocean twice, I had to reapply, and my sample size was too small to give an accurate opinion overall. I didn’t feel, or show signs of burnt skin after use, and felt generally protected by it during the time I had Blue Lizard on my face, and shoulders. Packaging states 80 minutes of waterproof protection. This was not my experience; mine only lasted about 45 minutes. However; this may have been due to lack of product in sample, and inability to apply generously. Love Blue Lizard sunscreens!!

I was hesitant to get an SPF 50 zinc oxide sunscreen, thinking it would be a goopy mess and leave me ghost white, but no! This sunscreen is actually amazing. Granted it is a thick white lotion when you first put it on, but as soon as you massage it in a little the whiteness disappears. It only leaves my skin maybe a teensy bit lighter than my normal skin tone, but nothing too noticeable- I can still go out in public looking normal. I use this both on my face and body, but if you're looking for more of an everyday face sunscreen to wear under makeup, I am not sure how you would feel about this. I can def put makeup on over it if I go out to eat after the pool, but I primarily use this as a pool sunscreen, and for that it's fantastic. No smell, either.

IMO it's very thick and heavy for a mineral sunscreen and a little hard to blend, but not so terribly blended in facial hair (at least eyebrows). I don't have dark skin, but wouldn't be surprised that it would leave white-grey cast for others.It doesn't have added scents, which is important for sensitive skin. it is water resistant, plus or a minus, depending on your goals (hard to remove).Buying it once even if just for the bottle will be fun, even for an adult. (I think it's affordable enough to buy it mainly for the bottle), and because you can probably trust an Australian brand to protect you from the sun well.I still prefer other mineral sunscreens from other brands.

I needed a mineral a unscreen for my super sensitive eczema prone skin, so I went with a Cerave sunscreen since their products are usually safe. Unfortunately, their sunscreen broke out my face and neck, making the skin on my face hard and flakey and painful. It took a week to recover. I went to Walmart and browsed their sunscreens very thoroughly and decided to go with Blue Lizards Sensitive Mineral sunscreen. As I was applying the sunscreen I was scared of the burn, and the possibility of white residue and how my skin would react in general after applying it.Well, thankfully this sunscreen did not burn when applying.
