My first one lasted several years with no problems at all, until it suddenly fell silent. I replaced it with a second one, which lasted only six months. I replaced it with yet another Blue Yeti, and it didn't even last a month. My current Blue (new) Yeti has lasted a month so far and is going strong. We will see what the future holds for it. But when I replaced the defective mic, the computers found the it without a hitch.
