One-touch clean air The Blueair Blue 3410 Air Purifier is designed to work in medium-sized rooms, where it can filter the air up to 5 times an hour. All it takes is a single touch of a button and the purifier adjusts the fan speed automatically based on real-time air conditions. Multi-stage filtration The brunt of the filtration is taken care of by the HEPASilent filter. It removes dust, pollen, mould, and other nasty pollutants. But the first layer of protection is the outside fabric cover, which acts as a pre-filter to catch large particles. It can be easily removed and washed, or you can change it for a different colour to change the look. There's also a particle + carbon filter that removes odours from pets, smoking or cooking. All three filters combined remove more than 99% of particles from the air. Smart design The Blue 3410 has a 360-degree intake, which means there is no wrong way to place it in your room. And with its minimalist design, it will fit right in. There is an LED light that changes colour depending on the air quality. So if you want to get rid of pollutants quickly before you go to bed, you can set the speed setting yourself.

I bought this, as after we had some building work done. I wasn't convinced that I had managed to get all the dust out of our bedroom. Both my husband and I have both slept so much better since having this on during the night. He's had quite a bad cough recently, but even that was better during the night. The purifier itself is very, very quiet at night. I wasn't sure about spending so much money at the time, but now I'm glad I did. Replacement filters don't seem very cheap, but if they do the job I suppose they're worth it.

It's about the size of a tall waste paper bin and very light but looks quite stylish in the grey. It's very quiet on sleep mode and fairly loud on the maximum setting. It's still pretty expensive for a fan with a filter (you can make one yourself with a fan and a filter according to YouTube). However, at least it's not Dyson priced!I didn't know if it was actually detecting the air particles as it claimed so I lit a match near it and it quickly 'fired up' when it was on the automatic mode to get rid of the particles generated which impressed me.I've had it about a month now but I still don't know if it will work to relieve my allergic rhinitis which I believe causes me to snore. My snoring has lessened but it's not gone altogether. I'm guessing that in summer ... MoreIt's about the size of a tall waste paper bin and very light but looks quite stylish in the grey. This purifier is quiet and works well, but after about 6 months regular use the filter has to be replaced. The device stops working completely when the filter is dirty.I have another purifier from a different manufacturer. This has a filter that can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and doesn't need replacing twice a year.It turns out that a Blueair replacement filter is expensive and can't be recycled either.I would not recommend this product if you care about the environment and want value for money.

Good Points: It works easily and it isn't a hassle to have around or clean. Very quiet too and portableImprovement Points: I live near a motorway so my small bedroom is usually very dusty and has poor air quality. Overall quite stuffy. I have used this purifier for a month now and I have unfortunately not noticed the difference in air quality or the amount of dust and particulates in my room. But the light shows that the air is cleaner.
Good Points: Cost to run is very low,I leave on permanently.Very quiet, although if you listen for it you can hear it.Looks a little less clinical than most.Night mode turns off any annoying LEDs.Auto mode is clearly doing it's job. If I use deodorant in the bathroom upstairs it can detect the pollutants from downstairs in the living room and ramp up the flow within minutes.Reasonable filter price and duration. You can change it's appearance to match your taste by changing the outer textile filter cover.Improvement Points: App control would be nice.
I do not know the first thing about air purifiers. I have not slept good for forty years, and decided to try this possible remedy. I don't know if I chose well. Some products cheaper and some £100s more. I have only used on night option. Seems fine, cannot hear it. and I have improved sleep. I still use earplugs and the occasional pill. However the filter needs to be changed every six months, I do not know how easy to purchase, or if easy to buy. The product is Swedish.
I bought the Blueair as the reviews said that it's quiet and it is! It makes barely a whisper on the low (night) setting which is important as I only really use it in the bedroom. Living fairly close to a main road I was concerned at pollution levels, though when I turned the machine on it actually gave a a reading which indicated that the air is pretty clean. This is a useful feature- in the auto setting, the machine analyses the air and adjusts the speed of the fan automatically reducing it once the air becomes cleaner. I haven't had to clean or change filters yet, though I did disassemble the machine when I got it to see what was involved and it didn't seem particularly fiddly. I also like the styling of the Blueair- it blends with the decor and is pretty ... MoreI bought the Blueair as the reviews said that it's quiet and it is! I am very disappointed with this product, and with the customer service from John Lewis and Blue Air.I tried using this for a couple of weeks in the hope that it would help with my asthma. When I put the machine in Auto mode it is always the blue light which means it thinks the air is clean. I would have expected the machine light to initially be red or orange with the fan running fast, then eventually switching to blue and the fan slowing down once the air was clean. However it is always blue which means the air is clean, which is incorrect as I can see dust in the air.I took the machine to John Lewis. They tested it and apparently found no issues. They rang Blue Air who said that either:a) my room is too big (it's not, I measured it and it's 17m2)b) the air ... Since having the Blueair in my lounge. My son has not needed any meds for cat allergies. I wasn't sure it was even working at first, as it was so quiet. Now I notice the difference with there being less dust and hear it kick in to higher level when cooking or spraying anything in lounge. The only draw back is the top comes off a little too easy, so the curious cat knocked it over in the first few minutes it was here. Definitely looking to buy another one for downstairs.
I bought my purifier in June as a way to improve my nasal allergies, which have gotten worse now I work from home right next to a busy road. I had really low expectations but have been absolutely delighted. Before we had the purifier our living room needed frequent dusting. Since purchasing we can now go several weeks without having to worry about dusting. The unit itself is quite large, but fairly stylish. We bought an additional coloured external cover which matches our decor and means we can wash them more regularly. I'm often asked if it's a fancy audio speakerIt's surprising how sensitive it can be. It can detect if something has been burnt in the kitchen and kick up the fan to deal with it. We had some masonry work done outside and it detected and dealt with the additional dust. It's been 6 months of use and it hasn't requested a new internal filter yet which is great. With a Hive plug added to it we can also schedule it's hours of use, saving a bit of energy. It's much such a difference to our home. I love it and wouldn't be without one now
