I have been using two of these for the past couple of years and, after much frustration with the amount of dust in my house, I decided to perform a test. I put the two filters in separate rooms and ran them on low every day for two months with clean filters at the start of the test. After the first month I religiously dusted all of the flat surfaces in each room every day. By the end of second month, I noticed more dust in each room. I then turned one of the units off completely in the thrid month of the test. Good product, but this stopped working after less than two years. Additionally, There are two filters that you need to change with this machine. Recommend that when you change the intake filter, you replace the intake with the current output filter and make the new filter the output filter.
